  1. They're nice but, a lot of people like Tula. If it has a star on the receiver that's what it is. I'm not sure if Izhevsk made any or not.
  2. Yeah, if he went back in the house, he shouldn't came back out with a gun and killed him. Should've just called cops to let them take care of it.
  3. Do you know what year and arsenal?
  4. I know it's slow burning for big cases but, couldn't some of the slow burning military surplus powder maybe be used? Like WC-860 or WC-872.
  5. Yes, it's a whirlwind when you first jump into it but, if you like to shoot, it's worth it in the long run. When I first started, we didn't have the problems with components, that we do now.
  6. If I had known that everything was gonna go crazy, like it has, I would've never got into 9mm. I got into it because it was cheap and plentiful. Seems like some kind of dream now. I would've jumped on the .40 bandwagon with both feet.
  7. I was thinking around 16#. I know that the sights are usually pretty close with 230 gr. "Ball".
  8. I've always meant to get a good detector but, never got around to it. I got an old cheap one. Never found anything but junk, like nails , screws, wire, metal cans, etc.
  9. I tried some 300 yard shots with a 6" .357 Magnum. Shooting at a 55 gallon drum. Front sight was completely out of the rear sight. Lobbing them in there was fun. Took a little while to find how much to hold over.
  10. Yep, a slow guy slows the bear for awhile. Lol.
  11. I just ordered a Tisas 1911a1 .45. Des anybody know what the recoil spring poundage is?
  12. Dunham's did have the Tisas 1911a1 for $399.00 but, are sold out.
  13. I see a lot of 9mm at Academy. I assume most Academy's have it right now. But, .45 and some other calibers are scarce.
  14. It rained all morning at the house but, starting clearing up around Noon. We've not set out anything much yet. Planted some taters and onions . Got a few onions coming up.
  15. Awesome brother. Would love to at least get one or 2 of the other subspecies.
  16. Yep, what they said, and clean very well afterward.
  17. I love that scene in Grand Torino. Can't quote or play scene on here though.
  18. I'm wondering if the weather will get right to plant or set anything out. Weather is all over the place.
  19. Went this morning and stuck my little truck, should have drove my Silverado 4x4 . Anyway my wife's cousin got me out. Heard one on roost and told him to go after it. I went to another spot but, didn't hear anything. Maybe try and go Tomorrow if it's not raining in the morning.
  20. I've got a neighbor with one of those but, he don't do burnouts. He does drive it though. The guy I work with has a "Rat rod" and does that from time to time.
  21. Sorry to hear this. Liked reading his posts.
