All true, but its still not a great man sopper. That's why the military is changing to a special version of 6.8mm ammo. I've read a lot about it and they say its really good. Of course, 6.8mm is available out here but the military version is supposedly not yet available to the general public.
  4. In light of the recent theft of AR-15s from the Smyrna PD, I was wondering which, if ny Tennessee LE agencies have full auto rifles, and if so, are they with officers or stored at stations? I had read some time ago, that some agencies I’d have them, but seems like the article didn’t mention Tennessee. Also wondering how the stolen rifles were store, that they got stolen.
  5. I just dont know if I need another 365. I'm happy with my Spectre Macro so far. But of course I immediately liked it and wanted it, lol.
  6. Just saw this: https://osagecountyguns.com/blog/sig-sauer-p365-axg-legion-announced.html Based on the 17 round mags, assuming this is macro sized?
  7. Yeah, many folks have forgotten about those pesky white women in the suburbs!
  8. Just what exactly are the fears of our legislators and governor when it comes to little things like th9is?
  9. Was this the Gunshop located not far from the Franklin exit in an old Uncle Buds restaurant? If so, I remember it. I. Went there a few times and thought their prices were high. I went back because they had a good stock of guns and accessories, LOL. I don’t think I ever bought a gun there, but my buddy did I believe. I did buy some accessories there a few times.
  10. I got the latest issue of NRAs Shooting Illustrated today and saw an ad for a Trijicon RCR. I’ve long been a fan of Trijicon, and have one of their RMRs for my Glock 45. But I also like , or even prefer closed emitters better and have a Holosun EPS Carry MRS green on my Sig P-365 Spectre Macro. I like the versatility, form, function and the side loading battery tray on it. Trijicons entry into this market is only a red dot with a top loading battery. Still, I thought, it’s a Trijicon closed emitter! Then I looked it up on their web site and saw $850.00! Wow!
  11. Do you have a link?
  12. I didn't realize they were doing that for driver's licenses now. That's helpful info right there! I usually go very early, like show up before they open, and still have stood in line a while. I got my gold star in December of 2019, well, actually mine is a white star in a gold circle.
  13. I remember last time this issue came up. there was much discussion about the rights of property owners, like decriminalizing would somehow take away their rights. I call bull on that argument. the property owners still have a right to have their own rules about their property. If they see me carry, they can ask me to leave. If i don't, criminal trespass. Property owner still maintains their own rules. Should be easy peasy to pass. Why is it not?
  14. Beautiful gun! Reminds me of one I had stolen many years ago. Mine was not Wilson Combatized, though, just a basic stainless Combat Commander. Even though I've since replaced mine with a Sig 1911 Carry, I still prefer and miss my Colt Combat Commander. Way above my current means, but good luck with sale! I bet it's worth every penny!
  15. Yeah, I'll stick with my Keltec Sub-2000. I have a boatload of Glock mags in capacities up to 33 rounds.
  16. I could see this happening. I've seen cops do things before that they really didnt want to do, but were goaded by someone. I once got a ticket after a traffic accident from a cop who clearly was NOT going to give me one but for the demands of the other person involved. I went to court berceuse I thought the other guy and the cop were both wrong. The judge, who luckily was very aware of that particular intersection, sided with me and dismissed the ticket. He was a bit of an a**h*** about it too to both the other guy and to the cop. But I illustrate this to mean that BigK makes a great point. I think this should be an easy fix, heck, other states have done it. Owner is withing his rights to tell you to leave or disarm. You go or face criminal trespass charge if you refuse.
  17. I remember that. I watched her testimony to I think it was the Texas legislature afterwards, in a campaign to change their carry laws. She later went on to serve in their lehislature.
  18. Glad the people and the process are good, but that doesnt sound right to me. When the laws were changed both in Tennessee and Nationally, I dont think this was the the intent.
  19. Never had neck bones, but love lamb. Had it Gyros and also in England in Shepherds Pie.
  20. oh ok. Thats the way i did it when i used suspenders. Somehow I got the impression, I guess by looking at the upfitters web page that yall werent using a belt, lol. That is what prompted my question. The Perry suspenders i used, the wider ones were very good.
  21. How do you carry? Are your pants rigid enough to support a holster or do you pocket varry?
  22. While I agree, I'm always afraid that I'll be the exception that gets arrested by an overzealous LEO simply for carrying past the sign. Seems like it shouldnt be that big a deal to simply remove the law or that part of it. When this came up before, some of the state legislators argued that property owners have rights and removing this would take away their rights. I dont agree with that. I mean, they can have the right to ask me to disarm or leave their property and if I refuse, THEN the law could be involved as a trespassing issue. I like to follow the law and laws like this make a lawbreaker of many folks.
  23. For a few years when i was carrying my Sig 1911 and then my FN-45 plus 2 spare mags, along with other pocket litter, I wore a belt and a pair of Perry wide suspenders that hooked onto my belt. It kept my pants up but I developed should issues in my weak side shoulder unrelated to the suspenders so I had to stop using the suspenders due to shoulder pain. . About the same time, I switched to a Sig P-365 as my EDC and started carrying both IWB and OWB with a Kore belt. In addition to my 365, I also carry one extra 17 round mag, a Benchmade auto, a big wallet, a small keys and a small Kershaw Launch 4 auto. I have to cinch it up snug but it holds everything in place with minimal hitching up my pants.
