  1. Wonder about people having a latex "glove" that goes over the stock to obscure what it does.... I bet someone does something like to avoid it being readily visible. Still illegal, but some people don't care. No condoning it at all either. Btw, an unassembled suppressor...is not a suppressor, so if you dissassembled the stock, woukd it still be illegal?
  2. We jumped one going in the first afternoon but it was in thick brush. Saw 3 does the morning and heard a buck snort us out twice. No shot at the does. They stayed behind trees on the next ridge almost like they knew we were there. The last morning was POURING rain, so we just headed home. 6 hours home in wet clothes would not be my idea of fun. So good trip with my Dad, Saw some fox squirrels too. No meat on the table though. More deer than I have ever seen in the woods at once. Growing up was days and days of staring at empty woods. Kinda one reason I got away from hunting. I don't know exactly what side we were on, but the fields were all grown up 6 foot tall. Dad said in past years they were bushhogged and he hunted the edge with good success. We only saw one other hunter and he was headed out as we went in the first day.
  3. I think he was saying it was a miracle to get to talk to a cop and get them dispatched that fast.
  4. Unfortunately politics still plays out there too...
  5. "just" is highly subjective when politicians get involved. Remember logic is not something they recognize..... This is exactly why I backed off buying one of these. Too many variables that could bite me. My budget is small, so losing part or all if it due to this is not viable.
  6. That does not mean they have to pay you a fair price.....if it came down to it, they would screw everyone by saying something like "We will give you $20". Then they have "compensated" you.
  7. Dang that is purdy.
  8. I have grips for sale that fit that 75 I think ... but they're not that purdy. Lol Good looking group.

  16. Hard to tell from the video if this is an albino, Leucism (loss of pigment but normal eyes), or another type of deer that escaped from a preserve. She says it had a pink nose and eyes, but I can't tell from the video. https://www.foxnews.com/great-outdoors/tennessee-hunter-spots-12-point-albino-buck-in-rare-sighting-it-was-like-seeing-a-ghost A hunter in Tennessee said she had a “once-in-a-lifetime experience” after spotting a rare albino buck last week. Amy Henderson Hall shared a video and photos of the 12-point buck on Facebook, writing the animal “walked right underneath me and hung out with me for 30 minutes.” “I teared up and was totally amazed,” she said. Hall told Fox News Tuesday she spotted the buck while hunting on her friend’s property in Williamson County. “It was a very eerie, ghostly feeling,” she said of the animal, adding it was her first time seeing an albino deer. “It took my breath away.” White deer are “extremely rare,” according to the website ProtectTheWhiteDeer.com, which is run by a group in Wisconsin that aims to protect the animals. The snowy color is a genetic trait that's inherited, according to the group. Hall said the buck she saw was a “true albino,” meaning it had a pink nose and eyes, a “result of blood vessels showing through the skin and clear lens of the eyes,” ProtectTheWhiteDeer.com reported. The site reported only one in an estimated 20,000 deer are born with the condition. Hall, who said she hunts deer to feed her family, hopes her experience will serve as a reminder to those in Tennessee that hunting albino deer is illegal. Following Hall’s sighting, the state’s wildlife resource agency reminded residents that albino deer are both rare and “illegal to harvest" in the state. Other states, such as Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin, also have laws protecting white deer, according to the online animal rights publication The Dodo. Hall said she watched the buck for roughly 30 minutes as it grazed and rubbed its antlers on a tree. “It enjoyed the space, nothing ever bothered it,” she said. "This experience was amazing; it was like seeing a ghost."
  17. Price back down again. $3029
  18. I just hope to get back in the woods. I wimped out and stayed out of the snow. Busy all weekend this week. At this point, I am not picky about size or rack. Saw those 3 does down at Yanahli and did not get a shot. Still kicking myself that I was not quicker. Good going to you guys that took one or more already.
  19. I saw that myself today up here in East TN lol
  20. Yep, but at least they have gotten away from the stupid visa cards loaded with $10 ( or whatever). They will not stop it though because 1. It keeps people from price matching. Most of the places will only match the out the door price. 2. They get to use $20 x 100000 people for 8-10 weeks.
  21. She looks like it.... but she is about my Mom's age...
