That is about when my wife volunteered. Ask if she knows Karen that worked in the gift shop. That is my wife's second "mom." I actually thought she looked familiar. My wife only stopped there because we were so busy with our little ones.

@peejman if you guys are ever up to Kingsport you might like Bays Mountain Park. They have a raptor program that sounds similar to what she worked in. My wife used to volunteer there in the reptile building. We got to know every one. In fact her best friend's mom worked there for years in the admin office.

I have a red tail that hunts my backyard and treeline. I watched him corkscrew around a tree chasing a squirrel one day. Squirrel got away on the end..at least that day. Saw a Hoot Owl too a while back, but glad he moved on. He kept waking up up at night. Lol

Or bumper shrapnel depending on the cause of death. Lol

Well if you invested 100k in a bunker like some of them you would want to use it. LoL That is why on my site I try to focus people on much more probable events. Floods, fires, tornados, hurricanes, and blizzards are much more likely to put you into a dangerous situation. EMPs, nuclear war, social breakdown, and pandemics are much less likely. The reason to keep them in mind is only because of their huge "if they happen" consequences. No one can plan for everything. You might have a bunker and 50 years of food but get caught 75 miles away on the interstate when it happens. Or plan for an pandemic only to be hit by an EMP. I for one don't want to test my long term survival skills if I can help it. I am neither the most physically fit or meanest of the bunch. I don't want to gamble how far my wits will take me. That being said, I have thought on the situation and mulled over options. I have made some preparation for disasters that might befall my family. For the average person, that is about all you can do. I liken it to a marathon runner in peak shape getting hit by a bus. Sometimes it is just your time.

Yeah I am guessing she usually is not talking when they do what he married her for.... I just imagine she throws 4yo tantrums when she does not get what she wants. That voice and attitude give it away. Of course he is filming and driving so not sure he is much smarter.

Even if you pulled the "hammer" back until almost cocked and released?

My dad used to fish carp out of the river below a cannery when he was a kid. Back then the cannery dumped a lot of stuff in the river when cleaning out vats and such.He said they were really big and my manaw would cook them. My favorite to catch was always bluegill, though the little ones could be infuriating sometimes. We always pond or bank fished. We never had the funds for anything else. Heck I used a cane pole for creek fishing still back then.

Great score!

She is inside next to a glass front case. So I doubt it is a range. No visible ear or eye protection. LoL

The site @Whisper linked above talks about the LC Smith on the sides and roll marks on the barrel, not on top. With no engraving on the plate with LC Smith, if it is before 1914, looks to be 00 grade. Though the serial number list says numbers were all over the place. I know you can read it all for yourself, but I like these puzzles. Plus, my Dad got an LC Smith when my Papaw died. I still need to get good pics and info on it.

I would be interested in buying...Not sure you would be interested in my price. LoL

Never owned one, but always heard good things from actual owners. I keep my eye out to trip across an extra cheep one just for craps.

Get you a trash bag and start collecting cans. Lol If you are lucky you will end up with an aluminum plated chipmunk.

Use it to melt Terminators

Unless you mix it in with other aluminum scrap. Probably not cans, but pipe, plate and such. Of course unless you have a bunch it might not be worth it
