  1. I do all of my transfers through Royal Range and if I shoot indoors it’s there. I’ve been to both Nashville armory’s. I definitely prefer Royal Range.
  2. I’m going to try to check out one of the Barrett Rec 10’s this weekend at the outpost armory. Apparently they’ll have some but Barrett still hasn’t released any info on their website. I think they’re waiting until they present it at shotshow.

There’s been tests that show mlok is stronger but imo I don’t think there’s much difference. However, I do think that mlok generally looks better. Here’s a picture of my 18” DMR version in the tungsten grey. It’s a got a vortex strike eagle 1-8 that I’ll probably upgrade in the future and a Geissele SSA-E trigger.

Geissele recently came out with some complete uppers that use a DD Barrel. Also I love my Rec7. It’s a gen 2 with the keymod rail but the new ones are Mlok.
  5. Figured I would share. Saw this at shoot point blank range in Knoxville earlier. It’s used in great shape with box, mags and grip inserts. $660 and 10% off
  6. Hell local Academy Sports might price match it and knock off 5%. Definitely worth asking. That would be a steal.
  7. I saw this and figured I’d share. M&P 2.0 C for $369 + a $50 rebate at the outpost armory in Murfreesboro. I’m not positive that’s the price in the store but you could always call and ask. https://www.theoutpostarmory.com/products/handguns-smith-wesson-11683-022188871685-2125
  8. 15% cashback at academy and cabelas today and the Remington range buckets are back in stock.
  9. Does anyone know of another store closer to Nashville that sells aero precision lowers that cheap? Or possibly in Chattanooga.
  10. My girlfriend’s dad bought his first gun last week and I talked him into buying that exact same XD. Great deal and he loves it.
  11. 350 round Remington range buckets for $65 including tax and free shipping. Not as cheap as they were on Black Friday with the rebates but still about as cheap as I could find any online. https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/remington-umc-9mm-brass-115-grain-pistol-target-ammunition-bucket#repChildCatid=3376324 Also posted this in the general chat but I just realized Academy offers 5% cash back through active junky and if you sign up through my referral link below you’ll get $10 extra after your first purchase of $25 or more. Also PSA and Brownells are on there. You’ll need to go through active junky when you make the purchase though not the academy link. https://www.activejunky.com/invite/1065765 Also Winchester is currently doing 25% rebates on all centerfire pistol ammo excluding 9mm.
  12. Idk I’d this is old news or not but activejunky will give 6% cash back at Palmetto State Armory, 5% at academy sports, and 4% at Brownells. They also give 6% back at Cabela’s and 7% at Bass Pro shops. You get the cash back through your PayPal account or a check quarterly. You should also get $10 for your first order of $25 or more if you use my referral link below. I should get $10 as well. https://www.activejunky.com/invite/1065765
  13. Yea after thinking about it I might try out an upper in 300 BLK. I got to shoot one supressed in an indoor range about a month ago and it sounded like a pellet gun. If I go with a pistol length I will most likely do 10.5 or 11.5 on the barrel. I’ve also considered another 14.5 with a pinned muzzle device because I could just throw it on one my rifle lowers. I currently do not own a pistol lower even though I see really good deals on them from PSA all the time. I really just want to start another project. I’m no longer considering an SBR at least for now. Thanks for the help!
  14. If there is a thread similar to this please direct me. I looked for about 5 minutes. I’m about to start a pistol build and I’m looking for some advice. What is the optimal barrel and rail length? I have a 14.5” rifle with a pinned flash hider to make it 16” now just to put that into perspective. Also I’m looking to make this with mid level components. What braces perform the best? Any recommendations on barrel besides Daniel Defense? I know they’re good to go. Last question. I know it costs around $200 for the stamp to SBR a rifle. That’s just for one single lower that you can put any length barrel upper on correct? Also how long does is usually take to get that stamp back in TN?
  15. Maybe briefly mention not being able to consume alcohol at restaurants while carrying. I’m sure a lot of people frequently leave their weapon at home or in the car because they’d like to have a beer at dinner.
  16. I like the fact that it comes with night sights, a flush 17 rounder and 2 extra 19 round clips for around the same price as other standard glocks. I also like the desert coloration even though I know a lot of people don’t.
  17. Im selling a basically brand new Vortex Crossfire for $120 if you’d be interested in that. They come with a low mount and a 1/3 co-witness from Vortex.
  18. The “SHOOTERSNATION” discount code on Squared Away Customs is good for 15% off! Very kind of Mark to do that.
  19. I think it’s just Geissele’s “Super Gas Block” mounted on the Daniel Defense Barrel. I shot it last weekend at an indoor range and it was a lot of fun. I love the 14.5” Barrel length and rail is super nice. Heres a target at about 30 yards. I’m pretty sure the lower group was with a rest and then the on target group was standing and aiming a couple inches high.
  20. I think it’s just milspec. It has HPT/MPI stamped on it but no brand that I can tell. Whenever I think about it I’ll call them and ask about it. You can preorder their new uppers coming out on Brownells. The rail on this thing is excellent. https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/receiver-parts/receivers/upper-receivers/ar-15-usasoc-upper-receiver-group-improved-urgi-5-56-m-lok-prod114412.aspx
  21. I saw they were doing this for SHOT Show when I was researching an SSA-E that I ended up buying. Ha some of the members were pissed because I joined in 2018.
  22. Finally got this bad boy in last night. I won it in a giveaway on ar15.com in January I’m sure some of you saw advertised on Geissele social media. Notice the serial number is SHOT18 for this years shot show. Also the surefire is pinned and welded on the 14.5 inch Daniel Defense so I don’t need to SBR it. Here are the specs: Geissele Lower Geissele URGI Upper with DDC receiver (Daniel Defense 14.5" Gov.Profile 1-7, Surefire SF3P Muzzle Device, Magpul MBUS Pro, New Vortex Crossfire and Geissele mount) B5 Grip & Stock Geissele Super 42 H2 Buffer Geissele SSA-E
  23. I’ve never owned a Ruger AR but I’ve heard this is one of the better deals for around $600. Comes with an 18 inch cold hammer forged 1:8” twist barrel, 15 inch free float MLOK handguard, rifle length gas system, Ruger Elite 2 stage trigger, magpul funiture and decent looking muzzle brake. Weighs 6.8lbs. What do you think? @Dolomite_supafly Seems like a bargain to me. Search online and you can find it for around $600 https://ruger.com/products/ar556MPR/specSheets/8514.html

    Sig P210

I’m pretty sure the Nashville armory location closer to downtown has one but I would call first. They’re a licensed Sig Armorer. At least I think that’s what it’s called.
