I've worked from home for the better part of the last 10 years. I love the flexibility and nothing is better than videoconferencing in a tie and shorts. The downside is that it's difficult to escape work. It's always there.

We load in the winter when the weather's bad. We do an estimated years worth at a time. that usually keeps us 1 or 2 years worth ahead of consumption.
