I still have no idea how they can predict freezing rain-it's not supposed to get over 20°-up North we would have called it a snow event-after all what is snow but already frozen rain- It ain't gonna freezing rain at 10°

krunchnik replied to White Goodman's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Well beyond(This video may be disturbing)-cause it truly is. -
I have written to Bill Hagerty and Marsha Blackburn on several occasions-when they see my E-Mail address come up I would imagine they think(not this guy again) I also usually include David kustoff in there as well.

You always have nice stuff-primo Ruger
-
You actually had a shop that had a gun in stock-nice pick up-I have been looking for a 1911 in 10mm for awhile now.

I have the EMP Champion in .40S&W with that same guide rod and flat spring-it is Springfield's own rod-you can replace although with the shorter Wilson and then make you able to take spring and rod out without the pin. Disclaimer(Keep away from nose)

Basically it's built about the same as a Wheeler-It probably would work as well. -

These do indeed work on 1911's-I have replaced or moved around sights on 3 of my Kimbers-2 Ultra Carry and a master Carry Pro. Then moved my night sights on my Springfield EMP 3 to the 4 inch EMP and installed ledge sights on the other EMP. I know for a fact they also will push the S&W M&P which the sets I have done have been very tight from the factory-tighter than my Kimbers were. I have also used on a couple of Sig P series pistols. When Range USA was open I was their armorer for a little over 2 years so I got a chance to do a few different make sights. -
So did a bunch of these folks, but they just enjoy arguing... about anything Oh No we don't

I have never seen reloading supplies as hard to get as this time-even things like dies and press parts. Makes less and less sense daily-very much hysteria out there.

Between the virus and Democrats we can blame them both but in reality I think there is a lot of profiteering going on.

Top Gun recently opened also-which was Range USA-it is owned by the same people that own and run Classic Arms. They had several firearms in stock last time I was in there-but now it's a crap shoot.

Well that's just ridiculumus-an add from Ammoguide had a seller of in stock Winchester Law Enforcement Black Talon 127gr +P+ at 50 rounds for $83.00-and in stock-kinda pricey in my estimates. Last time I was in an Academy store here in Memphis all they had in the ammo section was 10 or 15 boxes of 22 Mag Hornady Varmint in stock and a few boxes of 12 gauge hevi shot.

So here it has been 8 day's since I posted this rant and still my package is sitting in Indiana-where it hasn't moved since the 12th-slow is not the word I am thinking of-inept more comes to mind. And more fun to come I am sure.

Used to be business in the firearms industry was slow all the time-the last 15 years have been anything but slow-now it's a matter of having something to sell-not finding customers to do the buying.

Brad was kinda mechanically inept was he not?

My hometown has had a lot of new out of state residents move in over the last 10 years. When manufacturing jobs leave because the bunny huggers don't like paper mill smoke or ore mining is bad for the environment they like to shut you down. In moves what we used to call Flat Landers and ruin it for the local citizen's. My Son's FIL has owned family land for near 100 years-down at the end of the road-in move's the new guy at the other end near the highway and starts calling the local Sheriff's Office and complains about the other guy shooting and he can hear it. This continued for awhile until the Sheriff got sick of the calls and having to go out and check the commotion. The Sheriff finally told the new guy to either shut up or move back to Chicago-

My Brother had a older model similar in year to yours. It also had the wood stock-which I came into possession of-which later took up residents on a new model plastic stock plain Jane sport model. The original new model now is a mix and match old and new-old model wood stock and reworked trigger group which is metal-shoots great. 10-22 Ruger is probably one of the most accessorized firearms ever made-next to a 1911 or AR15.

I don't know about anyone else but I am completely sick and tired of this whole mess-and very frustrated that nothing appears to ever get better.
