I like the Williams sights, but I have no idea if they make them for the Henry rifles. -

Peep/aperture sight. Makes all the difference in the world. -
Can you still get to the safety with that stock?

Shooting 1911s, H&K P7s, and CZs is the best help there is.

I hope you're right. It certainly seems like Ashe and his bunch were the only real opposition. That "answer" from Critter is kinda cryptic though, it makes it seem like something underhanded took place, which I seriously doubt is the truth.

Mosin Nagant Tactical Gear from Strike Hard Gear

If you need to carry extra ammo in a manner where you can get to it in a hurry, you need a real rifle, not Combloc toys. -
So what changed Ashe's mind? Did he just pull his head out of his butt?

Needs more bayonet.

It wasn't bad. Several guns went for way, way too much, but a few got "stolen" as well. I got a pretty good deal on a German P220 that I needed like I need another elbow... -

Went a little nuts with spray paint and the Tavor...

I've been spraying the Aervo (Brownells has it pretty cheap) for years now. I'm a big fan.. very user friendly and holds up much better than I would have ever expected. Interestingly enough, I just picked up a can of Rustoleum "Camo" spray in just the shade I was looking for, I may give it a shot this weekend. -

Thanks guys. The inspiration was the "Splinter" type camo that the Swedes use, but with different colors. -
Well, just the stock anyway. I'm reasonably satisfied with the results. I think I might make up a "negative" stencil with painter's tape and add some light green. Not too shabby for Aervo rattlecan, contact paper, and scissors.

If you're going to shoot suppressed/SBR, the .300BLK is the round, without a doubt. But you said you aren't, so for supersonic use the 6.8SPC gets the nod. However, IMO it doesn't represent "enough" of a gain over 5.56 loads like the 77gr SMK to merit swapping all the parts. My 20" 1-8" gun was ringing steel with ease at 600 yards with Hornady 75gr OTM awhile back, and I don't know jack about shooting at distance. Were I you, I'd build a dedicated precision 5.56 gun (or just upper, if you want). :2cents: DanO

Eotechs are great, my favorite dot sight. If you want magnification though, you're better off with a low powered variable, IMHO. There are several good 1-4X scopes in the same price range as a Eotech/mag combo. Ive used the magnified Eotech, and it just didn't work nearly as well magnified as a variable scope.

PVS-14 Seeing as how you post here, you probably already have guns. :2cents:

I just see no need for a piston AR... DI guns work as well as anything. Adding a piston is actually moving backward technologically speaking. As for a quick-change barrel, what good is it on a semi-auto rifle? If you change calibers or lengths, your zero is going to be useless with iron or an optic. With any AR you can swap entire uppers, including the sighting system, and be ready to go. Just my two cents... I applaud anybody going out and turning metal into gun parts... I just don't need this one. :usa:

Interesting engineering, but totally useless.

Colt had a bit of a problem with the 10mm cracking frames. It was always at the same spot though, right above the slide stop on the left side of the gun. They started on later guns to just mill that little bit of the frame rail away, fixed the problem perfectly. Deltas are excellent guns. Some 10mm magazines are pretty bad, I've had really good luck with Metalform 8 rounders and Chip McCormick 9 rounders. Wilson is making 10mm magazines again as well, I'm sure they're GTG.

With a decent load (hardcast FP lead or expanding jacketed), the .357Mag, especially out of a rifle barrel, will do the job on TN deer out to past the distance you can reliably hit it from. :2cents: Some years back, I watched a buddy take a ~160lb Sitka deer (game farm in Missouri) with a .357Mag 180gr Fedral CastCore hunting round out of a 12" revolver. The shot was about 40 yards, straight frontal shot. The bullet entered the upper chest, and exited right next to the deer's tail. It literally drilled all the way though the deer... the long way. Deer jumped in to the air, ran about 20 feet, and was stone dead.

You could absolutely buy a decent AR15, if you want a better defense gun.

That's a logical line of thought, but I can't think of a single competitive category in which such a gun would fit..... I'm doubting the whole rumor really, the more I think about it. Glock already has 2 double-stack .380 guns, and why would they skip the model 40?

It's definitely a buyer's market right now. Palmetto State is pretty unbeatable when they offer their "deals". I ordered an excellent "kit" to complete a lower my brother bought a couple years ago. 1-7" twist chrome lined barrel, flattop upper, all good stuff for under 5 bills shipped. He'll have a hair over $600 in the gun when it gets done. IMHO, the "stripped lower plus kit" route is the way to go right now.

Wait until they hear about the ultra-flammable untraceable arson fluid that you can literally buy by the gallon at nearly every corner in your town... without even giving your name!!!
