  1. I've got a couple of Robert's holster for different pocket pistols. Everything I've ever gotten from him has been great quality. I really like that contrast stitching on yours.
  2. Hey David, good to see you back on. Seems like you haven't been around much since before the holidays.

If it will get crimson trace to finally do a bobtail grip, I'm all for it.
  4. Im in for the 2-day carbine first, 3-day carbine second. Would be interested in pistol as well, but from Magpul, you've got to go carbine.
  5. That's genius. I don't know why I've never thought of that - even though it would likely draw a SWAT team to my neighborhood.
  6. It sounds like it's been settled, but keep the A5. You'd be sorry you got rid of it.
  7. That's nice work. I've always wanted a reason to pick up/build a plasma cutter. Too many projects...Too little time...

Yeah, I heard about the microSIM during the release. I'll have to pop my existing SIM out and see what it is.

I'm definitely in. This thing is a godsend for those of us who spend a lot of time on a plane or in the field. I just hope that I can pop my existing 3G sim from AT&T out of my laptop and into this thing. I am surprised that AT&T went along. They've taken some major hits for letting the iPhone overrun their network. They need to upgrade - I bet Apple has some major strings attached. They seem to be pricing this aggressively. They may effectively kill the net book market. Despite the props that they gave to Amazon with the Kindle, this will take a lot of that market share as well. Mind you, the Kindle is great for what it is with their eInk display - it's battery life is amazing. Even at 10 hours, Apple is behind there. It would be nice to see an OLED version instead of just IPS. I see iPad 2.0 on the horizon. It's nice to have some competition in the marketplace.
  10. Shot at a few times over the years on jobs/cases that headed south. Fortunately, I've never been hit. There's nothing that gets your attention like hearing rounds going by and realizing that someone is trying to kill you. All I can say is that it is completely dreadful, and yet you don't really realize it for that at the time.
  11. How about the Mad Platter over next to Monell's in Germantown? Always good and pretty quiet.

There was a guy at the range yesterday with one of these. It was small to be sure, but it was literally all over the sillouete at 7 yards. Maybe 3 hit out of 6 on average. Not for me.
  13. We are the land of the free because we remain the home of the brave. Rest in peace SSGT Meriwhether. May your sacrifice not be on vain, and may none of us ever forget the true cost of war.
  14. Nice. You're getting pretty good.
  15. Just like the poster on Fox Mulder's wall - "Trust No One"
  16. Good to hear. Hopefully the spring won't be a complete write-off after all.
  17. Nice videos. Impressive handling.
  18. Man Chris, that stinks. Good luck with finding an orthopedic surgeon. You're going to have a slow spring, but just do what they tell you to do. We'll keep you in our prayers.
  19. On the anniversary of the Innaguration nonetheless. There's irony for you.
  20. If you can afford the ammo for the 500, then the $1900 price tag probably isn't a big issue. I shot one at the range recently, and the guy told me that while he was reloading, he was still in the "couple of bucks a shot" range. That said, I was impressed by the round. And, as an aside, the S&W revolver had one of the smoothest triggers I have ever felt in single action mode. It couldn't have been more than 2.5 pounds, and was super smooth.
