  1. That's a great piece of steel Brooks. I'm looking forward to their folder based on the same blade later this year.
  2. Thanks for the clarification, and welcome to TGO.
  3. Nice. Good to see you back on more during the day.
  4. +1 on Adventure Science Center Also, try JumpZone in Franklin. It's fun for kids (and the adults with them who get in free). It's cheap, and my 3 year old absolutely loves it. Birthday Party | Indoor Inflatable | Jumping Party | Bounce Play | Jump Zone in Franklin Tennessee Saw the posts about BounceU. We've been to both. Jump Zone by far has the better inflatables. It's suprising how fast those vinyl slides can be.
  5. Depends. What are you planning on hunting with it? I love the Remington 700. I've got one in .308, and that seems to be my go to/all around bolt action rifle.
  6. I like the Federal 230gr HST. Hard to find, but a great round.
  7. I might try to make it to this one, too.

    Magpul ACS stock

I'm a fan of the ACS, too. I think that the storage tube results in a little better and more consistent cheek weld for me. Make sure you order for the correct buffer tube if you do get one.
  9. Lowbud is right - at least for now. In a right to work state, you have no rights or expectations of privacy when working for a private company. It's either play by their rules, or find somewhere else to work.

    USS HUE CITY

Those are cool pictures. I know it doesn't make the distance any less, but it has to make you proud to see your son serving our country.
  11. I'm with you guys. I want one, too. I didn't realize they were shipping. I've got a 9mm SBR build going, planning on building one in .458 Socom after that. Maybe later this year.
  12. Really only my right front pocket feels like it's out of control sometimes. The front left with the NAA Mini and multitool is less bulky than a few Leatherman's I've had over the years. That's why everything in there has been changed multiple times as things have gotten smaller over the years. The hard thing about it is that once you are used to having it, you actually use the stuff. Minus the pistols, I use everything in my pockets multiple times each week. Some of them multiple times a day. One of these days I'm going to CNC some tools based on my own experience.
  13. Nice response. You articulated the position of a responsible gun owner well.
  14. I've had it for about 2 years, and love it. Last count I'm into David for 4 holsters and two belts. He makes great stuff.
  15. We are the Land of the free because we remain the home of the brave. I am so sorry for your family's loss, and will keep them in our prayers.
  16. Here's my EDC. It has changed over the years, but these items have remained consistent. Left front pocket Gerber Crucial Multitool NAA 22Mag Mini-Revolver Both in a "prototype" pocket holster that was really a proof of concept, but has lasted for about 2.5 years now. Right front pocket Keys + mini prybar Lip blam Space Pen Lighter Flashlight - Maratac AAA Spyderco Paramilitary - plain edge 4-5 o'clock - Walther PPS in a DM Bullard Tuckable Right Rear Pocket - iPhone Left Rear Pocket - Wallet Marathon GSAR Watch
  17. I've been wanting to pick up a Curahee.
  18. Those are nice!
  19. Sweet. Congrats.
  20. Seems like if that was the case, the OP would know about it and wouldn't be posting here. Something seems not quite right about this. He seems to have PM'd more than one of us asking the same thing as his original post - after he posted it here.
  21. You're a bit far from Nashville, but if you are ever in the area let me know and you're welcome to shoot my P99AS or my PPS.
  22. Wow. You know it's bad when you're getting schooled by Mulder
  23. SR22 is an awfully nice plane to fly into a building.
  24. A Walther PPS is my daily carry. Before that, a Walther P99 was my daily carry - and still is about one a week or so. It is a great pistol. Great trigger, a pioneer in user selectable backstraps, and a great shooter. Mine currently carries a Streamlight TLR-3 and rides in a Raven Concealment Phantom LC holster. You'll love it.
