  1. Man, I knew I should have never clicked on this. I’ve been carrying a FNS9-C since they came out. I love it. I’ve put thousands of trouble free rounds downrange. Looks like I might need to get it a (slightly) bigger brother.....
  2. I think I detect sarcasm. But, I figure If they’ve been making them this long, They probably won’t stop now haha
  3. I’ve traded there before but tend to hit Gun Rack or Gunslingers in Kingsport most of the time. Thanks for keeping an eye out!
  4. Well. I’d like to think it was the mid 90’s but you pretty much nailed it. I’ve wanted one of these for a while. Scratches the large .45 itch if it shoots as well as many of the reviews indicate.
  5. I was REALLY wanting to go get a 1911. Posted on here and got great info (thank you), read online and was ready to go make it happen. Went to the gun store today. Someone was blocking the 1911 section so I looked at the used handguns while waiting. In the bottom corner of the case, I saw a HK USP45. Since I had never held one, I figured, why not. It was all over from there. Maybe next time I’ll get a 1911 but I couldn’t walk away from this one. Pretty sure it has never been shot or certainly not much. Off to the range tomorrow!
  6. Whichever. I’m open to either. @FUJIMO
  7. I agree. I buy hard into the “buy once, cry once” theory. If I was looking for something to carry, I wouldn’t be shopping this market. I’m just of the belief everyone should have a 1911 and I enjoy punch holes in paper with them at the range. For the intended use, I’m not too concerned with the finish. I want it to fit together without rattles and shoot reasonable well. Not needing a heirloom piece with this purchase.
  8. After the first of the year, I’m looking to pick up a entry level (~$500) 1911. It will be purely for range use as I prefer DAO for my carry weapons. It should go without saying but, it needs to be in .45–Any suggestions? I’ve had a Taurus in the past and it was pretty solid but I didn’t like that some of the parts weren’t interchangeable with traditional 1911 components. Oh, the less obnoxious the slide markings, the better. I’m a bit of a minimalist when it comes to logos and such. Thanks!
  9. Yea, the Eastman bubble failed us today. It was suppose to switch to rain around noon. That never happened. We’ve still got some coming now. I’ve tried to post a picture but I guess it is too large.
  10. 12” in downtown Kingsport and it’s still snowing.
  11. I’m sitting at around 5-6” in downtown Kingsport. Still coming down hard.
  12. In Kingsport, we’ve had everything projected this week from 1” to 9”. They have no idea. It will be temperature depend. Whatever we get will be a heavy, wet snow that will probably cause widespread power outages. The local power company is bringing in hundreds to assist the region. Or, it may be kinda rainy on sunday. I’ll let you know my projection on Sunday afternoon haha.

    Sig 365 ?

I plan on replacing my Sig 290rs with one in the near future. Basically the same footprint but I pick up 4 rounds.
  14. Making a positive impact on the community. Can’t beat that (excuse the pun)
  15. This could have just as easily been a armed citizen holding the shooter in place. if this possibility hasn’t been on your radar, you might want to give it some thought. I imagine things happen VERY quickly........
  16. Glock 26. Yea, I reached age to purchase in the late 2000’s.
  17. Hey guys, working on a deal for a Titan. I remember someone offering up a VPP code not so long ago. Are you still out there? Thanks in advance!
  18. Hit up bluewaterled.com. Great guys. They will get you the right product for your application. Close to us in location as well.
  19. Please don’t name the specific location; what industry do you work in that you have these types of problems? Just curious. If it is THIS shady I might be looking for the exit.
  20. I’m not sure a fed employee is ever “off duty” when public opinion is involved. I’ve heard of several careers end for much less than shooting someone—presumably Drunk. In a club. After a backflip. *(Politicians excluded)*
  21. I really want this gun to work. It’ll take the spot of my p290rs which has been 100% after break in. Finger crossed but I’m getting nervous.
  22. Very well done. Keep it coming. This site just keeps getting better and better!
  23. 4 years later, here we are. I’d like to have a 3” model and then put the grip from a traditional LCR on the frame. Apparently it can be done. Easy to conceal and a reasonable sight radius. Win win.
  24. Leave it here and tell me more. Who’s making these?
  25. I’d go find a old Ruger service or security six at that budget. Assuming it’s not abused, it’s probably the best sub $500 revolver out there—if you can find one. I picked one up off the TGO about 6-7 yeas ago for $350 I believe. Best shooting revolver I have outside of the Dan Wesson’s.
