  1. Well, I think the long, long threads on lever rifles might have been the first clue.
  2. Well...dang! I just saw this. I guess I've missed you by now. I would accomodate you and take it off your hands. any chance of getting together? Coming anywhere near Nashville over the weekend or next week?
  3. Very Nice! Envious of the .38 Super Model. I had the opportunity to shoot one in the mid 80s. I liked it. A lot. LOL. Tried to talk my brother-in-law out of it...without success.
  4. I'm beginning to suspect you have a problem One similar to mine.
  5. Me? Charitable? LOL!!! At least not with that amount. I'm cheap these days.
  6. To quote Red Foreman..."Dumbass!" Stupid on so many levels!
  7. Showed this to my wife. She was not amused. Said it looked like me in the mornings.
  8. Arrived at FFL. Will pick up next week. Buyers remorse setting in. LOL. Looked at my safe and told myself I was an IDIOT for buying another 1911.
  9. I have it in blue. Wife bought it thinking I would wear it in public. She was completely wrong on this.
  10. I believe I've heard that said about me once or twice. Beginning to wonder if it's true. After the last 2 months...I'm about to agree.
  11. Yes. I've had some experience with Tisas and like the product. I'd be hard pressed to say which is better betweeen Tisas and the upper class of Rock Island weapons.
  12. DANG!! That's Purdy!! This Red Forman "Dumbass!" is ordering one now! LOL! Wife's not gonna like me going back on my vow to not buy till I sold some! This might cause me some pain. 15 minutes later... Well by cracky...ordered the faux ivory grips too! I'm in deep do-do now!
  13. Are some of you new guys being a bit...foolish perhaps? Of course time and distance factors into the end purchase price. So does the lack of a tics/bc and taxes. Few expect to pay out if it's not worthwhile for them to purchase. But for heaven's sake...have the good graces to not make derogatory statements to the seller and the forum membershipif you don't like something here.
  14. OK...I'm about to prove I'm officially an old geezer. I like this more than I should! And more than some of the previous selections. LOL!
  15. Dang it! I don't have a G21 anymore! Would love to have done this with you. LOL. Actually just feeling left out. Haven't bought anything from you in quite a while! Sort of like withdrawal. Seriously. This is a great offer for someone. Sad that it can't be me this time. Maybe I could offer you a selection of GT's fine blades instead? Great guy to deal with! Someone grab this!

    Toby Keith

Toby Keith. That name brings to mind all his big hits...some humerous, some patriotic, but all sang with emotion and sincerity. I believe Toby Keith put out his love for this country and it's military right out front in everything he did. I may not have agreed with all of his political views, but that's not important. Toby loved this nation. That was never in doubt. I, along with so many others, will miss him. Rest in peace Toby. You deserve it.
  17. I wish I could say this wasn't me, but after going thru a period of trying to buy only US manufactured products...I have fallen in with the crowd. Price and availability. Those are the keys. Case in point. The once All American Walmart has become a shill for imported goods. From clothing to foodstuffs. Almost all furniture and household goods are imported. As has been said, it is so difficult these days to ignore the price on items we want. Inflation has taken a major toll on the "Buy American" movement. Not saying I won't attempt to do it, but even finding American-made products is getting to be difficult. I would prefer that wasn't the case, but seems to be just a sign of the times we are living in. If you do label checks...and I still do...it's absolutely frightening just how much we import vs what we manufacture here any more. From basic consumer goods, to foods and medications, my layman's guess is that if we don't source 80%+ from outside the continental US, I'd be very surprised.
  18. For once...I knew what it meant. Don't ask me how I know this.
  19. If you were closer...I'd be willing to buy this. Shoot mostly 22 these days...when I can get out anyway. And that's not been to frequent recently. Too many health issues holding me down.
  20. What!?!?!? Bacon was the first thing I learned to cook! FAST,EASY Great tasting protein. I love to microwave bacon. Cook to well done. Just short of carbonizied. Crucnhy and crispy snack or sammich!!
  21. Full Semi-Automatic? LOL! Former Army? I'm glad he's out.
  22. Will remember you in prayer, pop pop. Just got out of the hospital/rehab last week myself. Doing the rehab therapy is key. Must be done to recover. Origionally had some surgery scheduled to remove a kidney stone next month, but after the last 2 months, I think I'm gonna wait a bit before that one.
  23. Blue taped mag. Isn't that blanks?
  24. If only this were closer! I'm satisfied with my Taurus, but always like to try different things.
