Damn. I hadn't heard that. I got to meet him once. A Super nice guy. In my younger and trimmer days, some even said I resembled him. NOT anymore.

I thank you for it...but on the other hand...I curse your timing. Spent way too much recently to be buying more mags. -
Granted I have no personal contact with a completed AR9 with Circle10 parts. I have read some online reviews, comments on the reviews, commentary here, and spoken with a couple of gunsmiths on the subject. It seems that the Circle 10 prodct is highly rated and of good quality, but there are instances of the BHO feature not operating in each and every one. I haven't seen any really nasty comments on it yet though. Maybe I haven't looked far enough. So far, it seems the Circle 10 guys are working with each buyer to rectify problems. But that's just my very limited research and knowledge. I can't say they work, as I don't have any yet. But on the basis of our online conversations, and KKing's commentary on the AR9 platform, I'm willing to try them out. In fact I just ordered 2 17 and 2 32 round mags. I have AR9s to try them in, as well as the Glock pistols. So, surely I can gut some use out of them. If not, I can sell them to KKing! lol

You know that now I've got to get some of the ETS and try them. lol I don't remember if you mentioned them before or not, but I will check it out. It would be wonderful if they cured that in all my 9mm stuff, but that's probably too much to ask for. That would allow my pet desire to come about...a 8-10 inch 9mm pistol that is reliable enough for the SBR. Yeah you already said it, but it just sounds good to me. lol

I agree with you on that. Even though I only have one Eotech, I find it to be a very good product and am very happy with it. I was gifted a Model 551 a while back and just got around to mounting it on a rifle. While the controls don't thrill me, it functions well and that's all I need, Yes, it's a 10 year old model, but looks and functions like new.

Strange you should ask, I was just thinking about a comment here. lol I'm very inpressed with them! Absolutely great finish on them. The stamped seams are so smooth it is unbelievable. And the followers are the most stable I've ever seen and felt. Add the fact that they are made in Israel for their military, and the weight issue is negligible, I see these as absolutely great products. I will most likely be ordering more of them and replacing some of the Pmags. -
Thanks for the information. It's great to hear of a company that values it product and customers that much. I still hope to get parts from them for a pistol/SBR build, but I have to say that after getting hold of one of the new PSA 9mm builds; the project may become a very long term one. The rifle form, that is the new "Hybrid" uppers and lowers for a 9mm, is awesome. The capability of using Glock mags is fantastic. I ran close to 300 rounds of mixed brand ammo thru it yesterday without a single hitch. Used Glock branded as well as some KCI, and the one supplied by PSA. 15/17/32 round mags all fed and functioned in the rifle perfectly. I am extremely happy with it and expect that feeling to continue. My only regret is that like many AR9 builds, it doesn't have a BHO feature.

I guess I just got a little antsy...mine arrived today as well. I think I'll hold off on more for a while. Unless it's a great price on Glock mags. -
Congrats! I have a similar case, and a couple of smaller Doscosil cases. They are very handy and durable. Oh...my wife won't be me guns either. lol

Best STAR TREK movie of all time!!! My wife absolutely hates it, and Tremors as well. I'd say the woman has no taste but...

Agreed on the space comment. I see it as much a novelty item as a replacement for the 50 cal size cans, but I do like the idea for a short range trip as they carry pretty easy, or for ease of placement and removal for the bigger mags. Yes, I know...regular metal cans carry just as easily. lol But as I said earlier, I'm still thinking and playing with my cases. Might modify and use for the 32 round Glock mags we all seem to be accumulating. -
I don't think you or I have a problem in that area! lol

Maybe I misread it, but the 3 day ground service was what I saw as shipping when I ordered. Oh well...more to look forward to. BTW...have you used any of the Case Guard AR mag boxes/carriers? I got a couple on Amazon, the best price I could find. Right at 22 each, and since I got into Amazon Prime, there was no s/h charges on them. I'm still uncertain of how I feel about them. -
22s are just so darn much fun!!! In any format! But an FA 22 sure does have a pull for most of us...certainly for me. Would I lay down the necessary coin? Probably not. But it's fun to see and drool over them.

Columbia TN gun show this weekend...

Didn't know anything about it. Where is it being held? -
And lest we forget...his portrayal of the little robot in A Hitchers Guide to the Galaxy was terrific. All the epic roles...Die Hard, Quigley, Harry Potter, Robin Hood...actually just about everything he acted in, he almost stole every scene. I would have to say my favorite of his many roles would have to be as the Sherriff in Robin Hood, and as the rancher in Quigley Down Under. I found myself rooting for him in robin Hood, and if it hadn't been for Selleck, I'd have wanted the Rickman character to win. Alan Rickman was a tremendous actor, capable of everything from Shakespeare to the dry comedic wit. Yes, one of may favorite actors as well. He will be missed by many people. Rest In Peace, Sir.

When the "Party " line is dispensed for mass release, when those in positions that can and do influence the masses are given their lines to repeat; I still say it parallels the down fall of public freedoms during that era. Not saying that Obama is a Hitleresque character, just that there are similarities.

Got your mags yet? I ordered on the 6th, and with the 3 day shipping I expected to see them by now. But no joy as yet. -
Dang!!! You'll a bunch of downers! I was getting all hot'n'bothered by that...especially after watching the next video with the FA version. lol In reality though, I have enough trouble maintaining what I have no. Sure don't need to add something that requires massaging to keep running.

Hmmm...a slight dislike of the mother country's news service you seem to have. lol

Heck...buy it anyway. If you don't like it, they are hard enough to find at the moment that you should be able to sell it and get your cost back.

I doubt it. I think this will take a human sacrifice, or at least an exchange, for this knife. It's that gorgeous.
