Can't go wrong with Glock or Ruger pistols. I have several of each and won't easily part with them.   Current fav would be the Ruger SR45 and my MKIII 22/45.

  Haven't had any problems with the sig mags with my 220 or TacOps, but I do heavily favor Wilson or McCormick mags over most other mags. Especially if it's a Kimber 1911 mag.

Since the speculation here, has anything been determined about the exploxive media used? Still thinking that black powder was the material? And is it true that the Bomb Dogs aren't trained for or can't detect the black powder?

That sounds about right. I've had several Smiths missing these items over the years. Nice to have them, but not absolutely necessary unless you are a fanatic, purist, collector that must have it all orginal.   Would be nice though, wouldn't it.

Have both Glock and XD/XDM series pistols. Nary a problem with any of them.   Love the G19/23. So-so on the G21. The XD 45 Tactical is a fantastic gun. Have had the XD9c, Xd45, and now the XDm 5.25 in 9mm.   I wouldn't say I like one over the others. All have their place in my safe. But I will bet that if you get an XDm45, you will love it. If not, you will have no trouble selling it. Maybe at what you give for it.

Neat looking, but every time I pick one up...I seem to try raising it to my shoulder. Just doesn't work for me. But that shouldn't stop you from grabbing one.

Can't offer any advice for you, but I'll happily check out the Kong toys for my Border Collie/Aussie Shepard mix. Molly takes spells with her toys. some have lasted for months, some don't survive 10 minutes when she gets them.   We've been getting large stuffed toys and the like at yard sales at 25 cents to a dollar apiece. Since we never know what she will do with one, that's about all we spend on them.

  Your thought is good , David, But unfortunately the track record for tv executives to keep their hands off is pretty bad. If it works, they'll try to make it "better." If the show is barely hanging on, they'll try to "fix" it and totally ruin it.   Probably the best to hope for is that we get a season that is at least interesting. That would make it better than 99% of the rest of the shows out there.

Very nice looking rig you got there. After a few experiences I've had with trailers, I'd think you made a wise choice in having it done to your specifications. That way it's already set for just about all you'd ever think you need.   Til you remember that one little thing that will jump up and let you know that you didn't cover all the possibilites you needed. But that's the way of like.   Happy haulin'.

I watched and thought it was interesting. The show has promise. And yes, I agree that the CGI work was pretty lame considering the tech advances since the last show I'd compare it to was done. But then, the SYFY channel hasn't really been know for high production values in any of their shows.   Maybe you won't agree, but I liken it to Babylon 5. Seems to have some of the depth of character and story lines that B5 used so well.   It is an ambitious undertaking, and I do hope it does well. I'd like to see a really good space opera again. Hasn't been a good one since Firefly.
