  1. Ok, there's another new one to me...Union Creek Journal. I'll check it out tonight. Thanks for the lead, I think.
  2. Ok, I'm sure most of you here have already heard of or read AUD, but I hadn't until a week or so ago when I posted about "Ruth's Story."   The Adrian Ring story caught me up in it pretty quickly and held on tightly. I just finished it this morning. Got into the last three months of enteries about 10 last night. And though I should have gone to bed, I stayed up and finished them all.   It was worth the loss of sleep. I really liked thestoryline, and the premise of the creation of the zombie was well done. At least in my opinion.   Makes more sense to me than the virus theory. But that's just my take on it   Ok, won't spoil it for anyone else and discuss the story too much. I'll just say I like it very much and let anyone interested go at it for themselves.
  3. Darn, that looks great. Now I almost wish I hadn't sold my Mini.

    M&P Shield

I almost feel guilty. I got one and shot about 100 rounds yesterday. Accurate little sucker! And a great trigger.
  5. Good to know that, thanks for posting it.   Now if I only had an M&P in 40...
  6. Welcome in, Eric. Hope you have a high tolerance for insanity and bs.
  7. Can't have anyone feel "Uncomfortable".
  8.   No, I think that's what he wants to do to us.
  9.   Rigged jump for effect. That bed box was already coming off before the truck hit.
  10.   1  Yes it is. 2  No 3  No
  11. I may go once or twice a year if the wife wants to see something, but mostly I wait for the release dates for the different outlets. Does avoid the wacky crowds anyway.
  12. My carry always has spares loaded, as well as the house guns. I don't as a matter of course keep all the mags loaded, but I've been thinking about doing that. As Spots says, it would save a little space in the safe and ammo cabinet.
  13. Just saw that Stalone's new movie is being panned and is a low draw at this weekends' movie opening. Supposedly only brought in 4.5 Mil in ticket sales, making it pretty bad in the $ return.   Wonder if his Gun stance comments/ 2nd Ammendent vs his "violent movie stlye" hypocrisy is causing some of us to shy away from the old action "hero"?
  14. Nice Start, Buddy!
  15. What was the pricing? It's evidently been taken down since selling out.
  16. Purchased a pistol and some mags from them at different times. Been well satisfied with the service.
  17. 50K truck...1 cent work of smarts.    Dumbass!!
  18. Amazing speech. Done well and with conviction.   Didn't look as if the larger portion of the on camera audience appreciated it though. I bet they were in a state of shock.
  19.   I agree on both counts.
  20. Wow. That sure beats the heck up on the GB case prices of PMags. And I saw some of those go to 4000 per case/100.
  21. :stunned:  Duh.....WOW.
  22. Yep, David is great. Bought several times from him.   I'd hoped to drive down for the show, but couldn't work it in. I'll see him next time.
  23. Having worked in the auto parts field for quite a few years, I feel I can say that there are some real good deals out there in the "rebuilt" market. But like everything else, you must be knowledgeable in what you are buying. And that's where the problems come in.    You need to know a little about a lot of things to be safe. Mechanical and bodywork are probably the 2 biggest issues to watch for. But in the last few years, the number of flood vehicles that get sent back into the retail market is increasing. With the lower percentage of value required to total a car, and the sheer volume of insurance claims; Insurance companies are selling more and more vehicles to rebuilders than previously in an attempt to recoup some of the payout losses.    Really boils down to how much you know and how well you are willing to research a vehicle before buying.   "Let the Buyer Beware" is a good place to start.
  24.   Yep. Welcome into the fold.
