Had one earlier this year and traded it for a CZ75. They are real nice, but the CZ just feels better to me. It's just that "hipower" feel, I guess. Sorry, bad pun.

I've owned several of them. I found them easy to shoot, accurate, and carried well.   Didn't have any issues with any of the 3. They digested anything I ran in them. I still have a Pt111 and a Pt145. Good little guns. Good combination of size, caliber, and managable recoil. Good low to mid-price range handguns.   Why did I sell 2 of them? Why do any of us sell? Found something else I wanted, of course.   You may get some negative comments on them; but shoot it for awhile and then judge for yourself.

Congratulations to you and your wife. May all your days be sweet and full. (One of the things that I used to hear growing up. I think it sounds good.)

A couple of weeks ago, I found WWB at my local WW. Taxes and all about 42 per 100. But that's the last I've seen.

Just got power back on here in parts of Inglewood. Seems that delayed reaction falling limbs got lines in my area; while some very large trees were snapped and uprooted along the McGavock Pike/Stratford area; cutting off power early after the storm came thru.   Many streets blocked off with lines down and trees across roadways.   I didn't see any home damage in my area though, just a lot of cleanup to do. Had 3 trees down on the property and several large limbs and tops out of some others.   Some neighbors had several very lagre trees damaged and down maybe 100 yards away.   I do think what we had here was not straight line winds. Trees falling in several directions within 200 yards of each other. Limbs too far away to believe they just snapped and dropped. And a lot of small debris pretty much covered the yard.   Haven't heard what the news is calling it yet though.   But in any case, we made it thru without harm. Just a lot of new work to do.

My wife, like TMF's, was really never a sifi or fantasy fan. But she's gotten into several things that have surprised me lately.   She liked Spartacus; I didn't. We both loved Homeland. She HATES Walking Dead. But came in last week and asked if I'd seen Throne of Bones(as she called it)?   After deciphering what she said, I got on Amazon and found Season 1 shipped for less than 20 bucks. We start it this weekend.   After she finishes the last 2 seasons of The Closer.   Strange tastes...this woman has.
