  1. ATF has no published guidelines that identify what 80% means.  At any given time, what comprises 80% is pretty much whatever the agent says it is.  They've raided companies for years - taking machinery, unfinished parts, raw materials, customer lists (a favorite with them, it seems), pretty much anything they want to take.  You have to have the big bucks to fight them in court, but usually no charges are filed as long as you don't argue about them cleaning you out.

    Airsoft

Back in the day we had it for short range indoors.  Stung like a ticked off wasp.  I'd hate to get hit at close range with something going 100fps faster.
  3. Any shotgun reloaders close?  While packing I found a (very) old bag of flechettes.
  4. Interesting concept.  Doesn't splash much, I hope.
  5. Buck and ball (1 .65 cal ball and 6 #1 buck shot), 00 buck, and brenneke slugs.

    Airsoft

Going through and packing up stuff, and I came across my old airsoft guns.  Tokyo Marui AEG MP5SD's, the collapsible stock version with the 'suppressor' that will charge up the glow-in-the-dark bb's for a tracer effect.   Have not played with these things in years.  Any airsoft players here that could maybe tell me how they rate against 'modern' airsoft?  Are they worth anything?  Back when I bought them (early-mid 90's) they were pretty spendy.  I still remember the welts they left!

    Feinstein

Dirty laundry?   They don't come any more corrupt.   Her seat in the Senate is the only thing keeping her from a long stretch in Marion.   If the NSA or (horrors) FBI in an honest admin had the impression they could do this,  she'd be sunk worse than the titanic, and her theiving husband along with her.
  8. I've run shorts, long rifles, subsonics, even gallery caps through my henry, not once have I had a hiccup.  I've also dealt with Henry customer service (regarding an AR-7) and they are top notch.    JTMaze, you're on the wrong end of the state for me, I'd be happy to let you run mine through its' paces.
  9. Remove hammer, mainspring, sear, etc.  Work the slide on the bare frame.  Still catching? You've more than one problem.  Start at the basic - slide/frame fit - and work up from there.
  10. Make it a poll.  I'd go with the Springfield GI or the series 70.  Not a stainless fan.
  11. Yep, the 1911 has been around a long, long time and is obviously obsolete.   Let you in on a little secret - I've got an 1861 army clone that  will kill just as dead, just as quick as they did 150 years ago.
  12. Springfield Armory Milspec.  Colt MKIV (series 70, which just means pre-firing pin safety). Buy spare factory mags.    If you can make it up here tomorrow (Sunday), I have 5 in house at the moment and you can help me burn some of this ammo before its' "use-by" date.  4 are Colts, one a Norinco (frame and slide - all the internals are GI).  Afraid my brother ran off with my last Springfield Armory.     Don't laugh at the Norinco - the van crew from Crane built it for me some 20 years ago.  Today a gluck shooter hit a 4"x6" target at 50 yards with his 5th shot.  Not sure how long he's gonna stay with the latex love doll of the pistol world, he seems to like the 1911.
  13. Consulates report that the Italian and Austrian passengers weren't on board; their passports were stolen.
  14. It was a hot Saturday evening in the summer of 1958 and Fred had a date with Peggy Sue. He arrived at her house and rang the bell. “Oh, come on in!” Peggy Sue’s mother said as she welcomed Fred in. “So, what are you and Peggy planning to do tonight?” she asked. “Oh, probably catch a movie, and then maybe grab a bite to eat at the malt shop, maybe take a walk on the beach.” “Peggy likes to screw, you know,” Mom informed him. “Uh…really?” Fred replied, with raised eyebrows. â€Is that so?” asked Fred, incredulous. “Yes,” said the mother. “As a matter of fact, she’d screw all night if we let her!” “Well, thanks for the tip,” Fred said as he began thinking about alternate plans for the evening. “Have fun, kids,” the mother said as they left. Half an hour later, a completely disheveled Peggy Sue burst into the house and slammed the front door behind her. “The TWIST, Mom!” she angrily yelled at her mother. “THE DAMN DANCE IS CALLED THE TWIST!!!”
  15. Wonder what she'd think of the finger I'm showing now?
  16. For a second I thought they were going to go after ATF
  17. Serfs - an excellent choice of word.  Democrat worldview is in fact proto-feudal.  There are the rich and connected, and the peasantry.
  18. Fal is a little more difficult to manufacture.  There is only one real domestic maker - DSA.  Import of kits was stomped on.     I'm fond of mine - I need to go ahead and put it on the market but I've had it so long - the first long gun I ever bought.
  19.  "What is the Budapest Memorandum" for 1000, Alex...
  20. I have to disagree with luvmyberetta.  This admin simply ignores the laws they don't like, and if they decide they want a new one they make it up on the spot and promulgate through executive order.  'Bypassing' the pesky Congress.
  21. Guess Sara Palin isn't that dumb after all.
  22. I'm reminded of Ron Whites' "how to hunt a deer".   So these guys with the super accurate varmint rifles and the expensive calls are doing it wrong.  You just have to go cruising through Athens...
  23. Takes the arresting officer longer to fill out the paperwork than it does for the thief to hit the street, it seems.
  24. We could maybe pool up and buy him an organ to grind...
