Tennessee HB11 2017 "Tennessee Hearing Protection Act"
Capbyrd replied to shaftbass's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The best part of this, and it was unintentional, is that we will rid ourselves of the DTP (defense to prosecution) language on silencers. Now if we could just get this same type bill passed for the rest of NFA items. I did look it up and it removes Silencers from the weapons section entirely. If this passes completely, TCA will not mention silencers at all. -

He already said he doesn't have a hitch. -

I'm not sure the frame of the 650 has changed. I'm pretty sure the current 650 holds the title of longest running model or something. -

Yamaha lists the wheelbase as 53.5". Front wheel is 21". Rear wheel is 18". Half of each wheel sticks out past the "wheelbase" measurement. So we will add 10.5" for the front and 9" for the rear. That gives us a new figure of 73". I'd say you add another 5 or 6 inches for tires unless you air down and you are still well under the 80" mark. This is just a highly uneducated guess. -
Ordering was only open for a week. I posted on the 14th. Ordering closed on the 18th or 19th.

People choosing to use half the name has nothing to do with metric or standard. You can do the same with standard. .38 revolver. Is it special or smith? Don't know, not enough information.

Very little. It certainly hasn't slowed down wait times any more than the rush of forms did. Sean has been doing some funny and cool stuff. He is also working on some rockets and getting FAA approval to drop bombs from an aircraft.

Out of my range too. I know Miller has a few smart models out now too. I think within ten years or so we might see those welders at a much more affordable price.
-
Get one of them smart welders like the esab rebels so that you don't have to know what you're doing

You're welcome. But that is the law. And if the law says that it has to have that language, I would assume that you don't need to pay.

They really aren't that difficult.

Hopefully this will help you. http://share.tn.gov/sos/acts/109/pub/pc0998.pdf

Wouldn't work with most of the commercial units currently available. They are programmable and run off GPS. Even if the GPS gets jammed, the copter is going to try and land itself and they use lidar and other systems to keep from hitting anything.

I like the comment in the middle picture. "Probably the position your dad will be in prison."

IIRC when the show was playing it was mentioned that the daughter wanted to be an actress...whether she's met that goal's another question. I fully agree she looks no different from a lot of other girls I see out and about in stores. I don't know much about acting, but I don't think the respectable A listers get their starts with instagrams like this.

I'm giving this a bump because I sold this knife (regrettably) and just got it back. I still love it.

Brian has a background as a machinist. And his work certainly reflects his skill. He is a fantastic machinist and makes some fantastic knives. He has won several awards for best new maker and best tactical folder at Blade Show and the USN Gathering. You could do a lot worse than having a knife from Brian. And he has opened ordering for one of his newer models. Ordering is opened until the end of this week so if you want one, jump now! http://www.sharpbydesign.com/mini-typhoon-run-2-ordering-info.html

I can't speak to whether they are directly school sponsored or not. I know that this was an SCTP meet. I know that the teams were wearing school colors and names and it appeared as though the teams represented the school.

The property in question is a private club. We host the school tournaments. And that's what this was. You would not have been able to compete unless you were part of a high school trap team.

MSSA is a private range on privately (club) owned land.

This was posted on Facebook this weekend in the TFA group and hasn't really had any discussion going. John Harris just said "read the code..." which hasn't cleared up anything. The purpose of this was a discussion and that didn't happen so I'm borrowing the guy's words and bringing it here.

oops. double post

Putting this on the internet will make it not hold up to any scrutiny, but I wouldn't mind a new roommate. There's even someone else in my house I could hook him up with. haha

They just want your money! And if you are retiring and won't be earning an income, the FEDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! won't be able to tax the piss out of your earnings.
