Well she was asking for it wearing that skirt...

This is from comic con 2016 but its pretty standard from what I've seen. All costume props and weapons must be inspected at the Costume Props Desk, located near the outside door in the lobby of Hall E. All costume props and weapons must conform to state and federal law. Projectile costume props and weapons must be rendered inoperable. Functional (real) arrows must have their tips removed and be bundled and zip-tied to a quiver. Costume swords must be tied to your costume in such a way that they can’t be drawn. Costumes featuring stilts must be approved at the Costume Props Desk. At certain times, due to crowds and safety issues, people in oversized costumes may be asked to leave the Exhibit Hall. After your costume props have been checked, they will be tagged by security, and you will be given a wristband to wear to designate that your props have been checked. Security will escort you to the Costume Props Desk for inspection if your costume prop is not tagged. And then of course it's getting worse as well. http://nypost.com/2017/05/27/phoenix-comicon-bans-prop-weapons-after-armed-man-is-arrested/

I don't know of a con that you can carry in.

I ride and I don't understand the "get back at the car" mentality. I don't understand ball bearings, or get back whips or kicking a door. If you are on two wheels, you are ALWAYS going to lose. ALWAYS!

The entire case is about a black victim and a blue perp. That's the point I'm making. The officer's civilian race is unimportant, he was blue when he murdered Castile.
-
I didn't say it had anything to do with the jury. I am merely commenting that being a cop may be the only profession where race doesnt matter. They stop being black or brown or white, and just turn blue. And blue comes first.
-
If I've learned anything in my life, its that the cop wasn't mexican. He wasn't brown. He wasn't white or black or whatever. He was blue. And blue protects blue as much as possible.

I have a question. I've watched the video a dozen times (with headphones turned all the way up). The last thing I hear Philando say is "I'm about to pull it out." Everyone else says that he said "I'm not pulling it out." What do you hear him say?
-
Still not a reason to lose one's life.

I don't know if it's the ny1 or ny2. Really don't care. What I do know is that my trigger pull was very crisp with it but also ridiculously heavy. Wish I owned a scale to test it. This came out of my police trade in gen 2 17. With a regular spring in it now, it's better. But it's not as crisp.
-
Not high at all. Takes time to set up a barrel to properly thread concentric to the bore.
-
If you have one of these in your gun, your trigger sucks.
-
The cop should have walked to the window, "Your driver side brake light and third brake light are out. Just wanted to let y'all know." And that should have been it. It should have never gone further. But because all civilians are criminals until proven innocent, Castile had to die and his daughter had to watch.

Post the last firearm related thing you bought!

A target. Head and body shots ring in a different tone so you can audibly tell your hits and misses. -
Well sir, I believe that he is referring to that time when the south fought the north and then after, made a bunch of statues about it.

Very similar to the Remington 700 recall.

It sucks as a pistol. The right side safety is horrible. The barrel nuts are locktited on and can be a pain if you need to remove. The trigger pack is held in with a screw that is welded so that they can sell the same pistol world wide. The 922r kit has been discontinued and is hard to find now, but you can still order all the parts separate, its just more expensive. Now that all the negatives are out of the way, I love mine. I haven't gotten around to sending off the form 1 yet. And I've been thinking about just picking up a GearHead Works Tailhook and skipping the stamp for a while.
-
Of course!

I didn't pick anything up at the show but I stopped by to talk to my friend Chad Nichols (of Nichols Damascus) and he was a little busy talking to Zac Brown of Zac Brown Band and Southern Grind. Really hope this means we are going to see some Nichols Damascus Monkeys!

HPA Hopefully it's getting closer.

That's exactly what they are trying to do. People quit buying cans because they think HPA is a given. It wouldn't surprise me to see a few companies fold before this is all over with. -

I just ran across this article and wanted to share it and get some opinions. This is at the federal level and it now looks like we have two competing bills. What are y'all's thoughts here? http://www.thetruthaboutknives.com/2017/05/akti-introduces-interstate-transport-act-the-question-is-why/
