Not bad I'd never heard it before now.

I remember the first time I went. We had been in the boat for awhile and had got a few frogs.  It's all quite, and out of no where there is this big smack in the water like just a few feet away, heck I bout jumped plum out of the boat. My brother and another friend just busted out laughing. I said what the h*** was that? Turns out it was a beaver smacking the water with his tail. Sheez  Haven't been in a while. Glad to hear ya'll all had a good time.

I've got one and mine was having feeding issues with alot of the 38's and some SWC's. I have since shortened the magazine spring and solved most of those problems. Seems that alot of the Rossi s have extra long springs. Can't remember where I read about it, but I tried cutting a couple inches off and it has helped tremendously. YMMV

Riding horses again this morn, saw quite a few deer. One of my buddys saw about two dozen turkey or more he said, on his way over to meet up with us. Saw an owl also and a couple guail. I've seen more rabbits this year than I've seen in a few years.

I saw some Cast 30-30 bulets on GB, 25.05 a 100 shipped. if that helps any. I thought about ordering a couple 100 to try myself.  I guess its about time to try a little casting of my own, :shrug:

I've got one that I bought back in the late 80's. Second handgun I ever bought, and will be with me till I pass. Took my HCP class with mine. They have gone up in value quite a bit, I have taken it deer hunting but never had a chance to use it yet, maybe this year. I would like to add his big brother, the Anaconda to the collection one day. But they are getting quite expensive these days. I think you will enjoy your KC. They may not be as smooth as the S&W's but they are still nice handguns. Congrats on tour new purchase, how about a little range report on that one when you have a chance.

As far as I know, no. Never seen one anywhere, And as far as I know Rossi never made any of their Ranch Hands in SS either.
