Good choice on the 30-30, been around for a 100 + yrs. for a reason. Got 4 of , em myself. And hey, ammo is easily available, and not expensive.

Had a cataract in my right eye, and couldn't see well enough to shoot RH. So I taught myself to shoot wrong handed lol I mean left handed. Got the cataract took care of now, I can shoot either or. Definitely a plus.

Haven't seen any yet, but do have the funds for one as soon as I do. Have a buddy that got one of the 16.5" Carbines in 357, and he likes it.

Not for sure Greg, but the other steel versions I've seen locally 357, 44 mag., & 45lc's  Are runnin in the neighborhood of $669 to $689. Can order them from Iowa Gun Emporium for $647. Hope they are about this same price.

Got an e-mail from Anthony Imperato yesterday saying they are about ready to start shipping the H012M41.  (41 Mag. Big Boy Steel) And to get the word out if I was on any forums.   I know that a lot of people don't care, but there are a few of us that love our 41's. I've been wanting a rifle to go with my Ruger BH for some time now. And those Marlins are just way toooooo pricey for me.   Well anyway I did as I was asked. Got a small 7 point yesterday morn. Nuthin fancy, got out to the huntin house a little late, about 6:20. A little after 7 this little fella came sneakin around the south side. Steady walkin and not stoppin, so I ease the 308 MX out the window. Bang, he goes down. I sit the rifle down grab up the pistol, as I'm leaving the shack, I see him stand up. So I jump in the truck right quick, and ease over.  There he is, guess he just stood up and then just fell back down.   Range finder said 73 yds., that 170 gr. Greg I found my Tender Quick at a local feed and seed store. It is similar to a county co-op. hope that helps. Glad y'all liked it. I haven't had anyone who tried it, that didn't like it.
