  2. Heard from a lot of people that it was bad.
  3. I heard from a lot of people today that the Franklin show sucked.
  4. As long as our war fighters are having to use non-expanding bullets I think bigger and heavier bullets are always going to be better than little and light. But they have to find a weapon that all military personnel can use. I think this is where the .308 will run into problems. I know from personal experience that a full auto .308 is a handful to shoot. I just wish that the military got the best equipment available and politics and back door business wasn't involved in choosing what they get.
  5. Yup, same for me. I backed out on to the road in front of my house in 2WD just to see how slick it was and when I put it in drive my truck wouldn't move. I clicked 4WD in and it pulled it self right on out. I worry more about other drivers in the snow that getting myself stuck.
  6. It says the cost is $350 on the website.
  7. Prayers sent. God bless SPC. Nathan Carse.
  8. Don't put anything in there. And no it won't help speed it up any.
  9. Did you adjust your gas setting when you changed ammo? My friends was doing the same thing and opened up the gas port and that took care of it.
  10. Sell the Cetme and put that money toward an AR15. I have a Cetme, and it shoots great but I wouldn't depend on it for a SHTF situation.
  11. Sucks man. I have found that group buys tend to go bad more than they go good.
  12. Sure, there are lots of UFO's out there. There is all kinds of stuff in the air and space that we can't identify. Now if you are asking about aliens then I'm not sure. There is so much of the universe that we haven't explored yet. I mean we are here, what's to say that there isn't another more advanced civilization out there somewhere?
  13. I would like the show a lot more if they did away with all the fake drama and BS. I only watched two episodes last season and will probably only watch a few this season.
  14. If it is a stripped lower the dealer will just mark receiver or other on the 4473. J&T Distributing should have complete pistols uppers at the Goodman Show this weekend.
  15. Then if you want an AR pistol I would get one.
  16. Do you have another AR rifle? If I only had one rifle I wouldn't sell it to fund the AR pistol. They are ok to take to the range and blast with but that's about it.

    Tipping.

How do you guys tip the people who cut your hair? I give the guy who cuts mine $5 on a $10 hair cut. I hate a barber who tries to talk or tell jokes when they are running those loud clippers beside your ear. This guys is straight and to the point, I sit down and don't even have to tell him anything. He knows what I want and the number guard I use without even asking. I'm in and out in about 10 min. which means a lot to me.
  18. +1 I have been on AR15.com for a few years and have less than 50 post. But I get on there everyday and read quite a few threads.

    Tipping.

*Language Warning* I normally tip at least 15%-20%. I don't mind paying more for great service. But almost always at least 15%.
  20. And?
  21. It was the worst rendition of the National Anthem I have ever heard.
  22. Unless you just have to have the laser I would go with the 642/637/638 series of S&W revolvers. The cylinder release is the one weak point I see on the BG38 just because it is made of plastic and just feels cheap to me. But with you being left handed the design might be a plus for you. The BG38 is a budget way to get a small .38 with a laser. It is a lot cheaper than buying a 642 and putting a set of Crimson Trace grips on it. So if you want the laser and are on a budget the BG38 is probably the gun for you.
  23. As much as I have tried to resist the M&P, they really kick Glock's butt in the ergronmics of the compact .45's. I don't really care anything about owning a 9mm or .40 M&P but I would really like a compact .45. Congrats on the new purchase.

    S&W or Colt?

If Colt was still making DA revolvers I would have probably voted for them. But with all the new materials S&W is using now days I had to go with them. But the is no doubt about it, Colt made a great revolver in their day. And their SAA that they make now are as good as they ever were.
  25. Prayers outbound for you and your family.
