Like runco , I've had success buying cars on CL (but then again, how many people other than me are actually looking for a European car with a blown head gasket? ) You can also try eBay using a radius search and you can try Carfax. I highly recommend spending the $ to get a Carfax report. Unlike some sellers, it doesn't lie. Thanks to it, there's 2 cars I didn't buy. Lucky you. My only choice is Humana and the premium would be 36% more, a deductible $2k higher and an out-of-pocket maximum $2500 more than the plan I'm about to lose. I did some zip code searching and surprisingly, Wyoming would be a lot higher premiums but Florida would be less than what I'm paying now. Go figure.... Time to move to Florida! At least then I can say my vote matters.

I'm a crock-pot person. Something about slow cooking food for 4-6 hours that makes it taste good (or maybe it's just in my head.) I could probably make that taco soup recipe work by using fresh or frozen ingredients instead of canned. (where possible) Throw it in the slow cooker, maybe add black pepper, some curry powder and I might have something.... like a desperate need for prilosec!
