I'll be curious to see how this one shakes out in court. I'd guess the charges are more related to shooting in proximity to other houses and the verbal threats than anything else. I suppose the proper thing to do would be to call the cops. Though shooting it down sure sounds like more fun.

Yes... the places I rode and the things I did on a bicycle wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers. I'd get arrested if my kids did that now. Back seat car windows that don't go all the way down are a byproduct of side impact bars and car design of the time. Cars got smaller so the rear axle moved closer to the rear doors. That required the big cut-outs in the lower half of the rear doors to accommodate the wheel well body structure. There wasn't enough room in the small rear doors for the window mechanism to allow the window to go all the way down with that big steel side impact bar running the full width of the door, and with the big cut-outs in the rear doors to clear the rear wheels. The door would need to be much thicker to make room for the window, which would have reduced already tight rear seat space. It was a physical design limitation that the marketing folks spun as a "feature". Marketing 101.

One of Dad's friends is a UF graduate in engineering. After his first year, he decided to take a couple general Ed classes during the summer to lighten the load and be able to concentrate on his engineering classes during the regular semesters. He said the girls would come to class straight off the beach, bikini's on under their shirts and smelling of coco butter. He said it was a good thing the classes were really easy, because he had no idea what the professors said during class. And he took classes every summer after that, whether he needed them or not. :D

This just spontaneously happened? Running normally one day, then blower motor and heat coils acting screwy? If that's the case, makes me think something internal melted and caused the crossed connections.

Mom had cataracts removed from both eyes and had corrective lenses installed (she was very near sighted, as am I). No issues. She said she loves waking up the morning and being able to see the ceiling.

I've worn a Crossbreed Supertuck for a number of years. I wear it at about 4:00.

Are folks ever going to figure out that minimum wage was never intended to be a career? It was intended for high school kids to make gas/beer/date money. Struggling to get by on minimum wage is supposed to motivate people to better themselves. I guess it's easier to whine to the government.

There's plenty of "rural" areas. Blount county is quite large. I'd also look at Monroe, Loudon, Anderson, Campbell, ... Basically any county without a major city. If you really want to be in the sticks, you're looking at 20 miles from any significant civilization.

Nice! We always called them may flies.... Willow/May fly Dragon fly Dragon flies come in every color of the rainbow, have huge eyes, and they have 2 pairs of wings.

Nice. Pick up a spare mag. Try some white or glow-in-the-dark paint on the sights (such as they are), it helps.

Will they remain in TN? If so, then what he said. If not, read up on the laws where they're going.

I'm not 100% sure the carrots were "ready". We kept checking them (by digging one up) and finding tiny little carrots, so we left them until the foliage started to wilt and die, then dug them up. Bigger, but still quite small. Maybe we'll try a fall planting. We're getting lots of tomatoes, jalapenos, and bell peppers. The green beans, snap peas, and zucchini produced reasonably well and got pulled up. The cucumbers and okra are finally starting to produce.

Tried this over the weekend.... delicious! :yum: I ran them under the broiler for a little while to get the bacon a little more crispy. I like my bacon right on the edge of burned. Though the jalapenos revenge at 5am wasn't so nice. But that might have had something to do with all the beer. and bourbon. and tequila. It was a good weekend. B) We also harvested our carrots a few days ago. While we had lots of them, the majority of them never got much bigger than an ink pen. Not sure why that happened... could've been the dry spell we had a month ago, also possible we didn't thin them enough when the seeds sprouted. They were packed in there. They taste good, it's just pretty tedious to skin enough of them to have with a meal.

I've got a P3AT and have shot an LCP several times. The LCP is much smoother, both in appearance and function. My P3AT is perfectly functional and I carry it a lot, but the LCP is just nicer.

What is your preferred 45acp Target Round?
peejman replied to tennesseetiger's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I've used WWB, federal, American Eagle, and Blazer brass. I'd give the nod to the BB, but it's not really enough different to matter. -
Yep!

What sort of cutting are you doing? Regardless, it's going to require hand tools. Power tools will go too fast and melt the plastic instead of cutting it. That'll be messy.

Seems the scumbag lived next door to friends of my parents. Dad was pretty spooled up about it too, which is quite unusual for him.

I would but I don't know the guy from Adam.

I've seen lots of stickers too. One of my wife's friend's husband is a member. Apparently you have to be invited to join by an existing member (I'm not).

My sister-in-law and her husband both graduated from WKU and live in Bowling Green. It's a nice place, other than the sink holes. As mentioned KY gun laws are generally more relaxed than here.

Get which ever brand point/shoot camera suits your fancy and budget. They're all quite capable of doing exactly what you want. If you're willing to reduce your zoom needs, the camera will be about half the size of your phone.
