  1. Yep. You'll be fine this time. And what Caster and prag said. It was an inexpensive lesson. I've had them. All experienced loaders have. I didn't mix up powders, but I accidentally bumped up a near-max load by five grains. Fortunately, it was H110. A slow, forgiving powder. I fired them in a Ruger Redhawk. There were breech-face markings on the case heads. But the Ruger, being the beast it is, didn't blow up in my face. I was fortunate that time.
  2. Genuine question... Is that a real Old Saying or does it only go back as far as Forrest Gump? Just wondering.
  3. Directly under The Eye. So stay well hidden under the cloak.
  4. It's been a terrible year for wasps. They're everywhere! Yellow jackets don't seem to be as bad, but they're there. Just like dragonflies!
  5. Yup. And I bought a magpul handguard being assured that it would work with either. It didn't. That was a few years ago, though.
  6. Contact Mike (LawEnforcementSalesTN). He is in Ork Ridge. Nice guy and reasonable transfer fee. Sending you a PM.
  7. Maybe. But they're not as cool. https://youtu.be/Wqh4w-yhAZ4
  8. Looks like you've got it covered. I got nothing to add. I do prefer a Stihl chainsaw though.
  9. Much, much, MUCH easier to back out of the way than to jump on a car to make it stop. In my experience anyway.
  10. Wow. I'm not into that music and I've never done illegal drugs. But I could turn the volume off completely and know that guy is high as a kite. And the Pearl Jam video too. Is it really necessary to be high to sing rock lyrics? Edit: They were both hilarious BTW. I lol'ed.

    Mowers

Like mentioned above, it may not fit into every slot you want. But, you'll have the biggest deck in the neighborhood!
  12. I am thinking of one of these for a lightweight rifle. http://aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=XANA3LWT&name=Anderson+Manufacturing+Lightweight+Sport+AR+Upper&groupid=1996 Still has the shell deflector. But it can be milled off. And the price is right.
  13. Out of curiosity, what's the twist rate of that barrel?

    Mowers

Not a zero turn, but I got a riding lawn mower a few years ago from Lowe's.  Biggest POS I've ever used.  Flimsy frame, unstable, was constantly fixing it.  Probably due to where I bought it.  I'm sure there are different levels of quality.     Husqvarna makes great saws and trimmers.  So I thought it would be a good mower.  Negative.   Can't speak to the z-turns, though.   And BTW, before that I had a Cub Cadet.  Maybe the best rider I've had.   This year, the cemetery bought a Scag Turf Tiger.  That thing is a hoss.  I'm spoiled now.
  15. You didn't ask for my opinion, but here it is anyway. Dude in the pic... First, get your filthy booger-hook off the trigger. B.) Spring for some sights for your blaster. Number three, take some of that money you've been saving for more tats and buy some cross-trainers and a gym membership. Maybe throw in a session or two with a personal trainer-er. And in case anyone is wondering, yes, I did that on purpose. Except for the last one.
  16. Well, I jinxed myself. I was mowing the yard (a part that hasn't been mowed all summer), and ran over a yellow jacket nest. Seemed like a big one. I got hit three times. My lower legs are still throbbing. Killed it with fire (I think). Make sure tomorrow. It was hard to determine where the hole was because the grass was so thick. So I nuked 'em. Effin' foreign invaders...
  17. Use a proper screwdriver. One that is hollow ground and fits the slot perfectly. The slanted one from Walmart will bugger up your screws and bushings.
  18. OK here. May not make a difference, but reset the router and cable box. And call them.
  19. Where did he get lead-based paint? A "growing trend... despite the certainty of death". That's awesome.
  20. Seems to be a plethora of all kinds of bugs this summer. Wasps, slugs, spiders. Dragonflies. I've even seen Japanese beetles. I haven't seen those in years. Oddly, but fortunately, I have yet to see the first yellow jacket. It's an odd year. Nature can be funny sometimes.
  21. Agent Orange and napalm. Or just shoot through it until its gone. Practice your hunting skills. OR, glyphosate works well on everything I've tried it on. Maybe add in some 2-4 D (sp?) for good measure.
  22. Actually, you can. The .32 ACP is semi-rimmed. Probably wouldn't feed through the lever action. But in a revolver or single shot, I think it is feasible.
  23.   I would like to have a .357 as well.     I want a .327 because I'm going to buy a .327 Ruger Single-Seven for my little boy's first handgun.  As a substitute for .22 LR since it seems like it will never be cheap again.  A 30-ish caliber round that can be loaded as a pop-gun or a deer taking round.   That Marlin would make a nice companion to the Single-Seven.
