  1. PWS FSC30 and thanks! Amendment2customcoatings does great work
  2. No plans to suppress at the moment. Trying to keep as short as possible for pdw use but with a cartridge that hits harder than .223/556. Trying to keep oal where it will fit in a backpack so will need a pdw stock at some point. Since I took the pic I have added seekins extended bolt catch and sd-c trigger from another AR. Doubt suppressor will fit inside 1.3"
  3. Just finished the majority of my SBR. Specs 8" Aero Precision 300blk barrel Aero upper and lower 8" BCM KMR Alpha rail ALG trigger (will upgrade to sd-c soon) BCM Gunfighter stock (want a pdw stock) BCM Gunfighter pistol grip Raptor Charging Handle Aero Precision Nib BCG Magpul pro backup irons Seekins ambi safety Seekins mag release Tungsten Cerakote - awesome job by amendment2customcoatings Optic to be determined. Most likely t-1 or MRO.
  4. If the Springfield Loaded is as nice as my MC Operator I would highly recommend it. I believe they are essentially the same except the MC Operator has a rail. Never shot a ruger but handled a few seem nice.
  5. My favorite all around optic that I have is my Trijicon Accupoint 1-4 with a green triangle. This is on a 14.5" upper. Seems super fast up close and forgiving on eye position and just enough magnification to help out to 300 yard. Plus I like the simple triangle. For strictly duty use I run a T-1 on 11.5" suppressed. I can't think of a reason why I would take a 300 yard shot on SWAT in an urban area when I have snipers as overwatch. So I would suggest a variable power for your intended application. Depending on budget I would look at the new 1-6 Accupoint or the VCOG.

    Flat triggers

I have the Agency Arms drop in flat trigger. I like it a lot. Not really change in pull weight but it feels better/lighter. Take up also feels reduced. Plus trigger shoe is metal and has a wider feel. Its really subjective I think but I enjoy it. I run flat Giessele triggers in my ARs too.
  7. I have their drop in flat trigger in my Glock 19 gen4. I love it. Kept weight in a good defensive range but improved overall feel. Its hard to describe without pulling the trigger. I'm sure you will love it and that's all that matters if you got the money. All I can afford is the trigger, lol.
  8. Lol. You got me figured out. I actually do prefer standard slide lock/release mainly cause I don't use it to release the slide and I'm left handed anyways.
  9. I really like his mag release and base plates. I have turned quite a few guys I work with on to them. But I only like them cause he was CAG and I like hanging with tactikiddies.
  10. Just got my Agency Arms drop in trigger. For not changing the pull weight this thing is amazing. It feels so much better and looks pretty nice too. I installed it on my full FDE Glock 19 gen4. Definitely will be buying one or two more for other Glocks I have laying around. It is by no means a 1911 trigger but for a duty/combat trigger it feels better without being lighter. It's kind of hard to explain you just have to experience it. If you're not familiar with them they are a flat bow non adjustable trigger with a metal trigger shoe.
  11. I'm one of the few in here that kind of like the 42. I guess I've never liked tiny pocket guns though. I do like highly concealable belt guns which is how I see them. I might pick up a blue label down the road. I generally carry bigger guns even though I'm small framed I don't have much of a problem with a Raven Concealment and Ares belt. Currently either a G19 or 4" SA LW Operator. The 43 would be nice on the belt when I'm wearing tighter shirts where thin is priority I guess.
  12. M&P 45c. Never owned that model but owned 2 9mm's and they were great. Couple guys at work carry the 45c off duty and I've shot them. They are great guns all around. Kind of like a Glock 19 in they are small enough to carry and big enough to fight with.
  13. Budget Optic- PA micro. I've had one on my AK SBR for over a year and no issues. They even have one now that gets 50k hours battery life. Mid Price- Aimpoint Pro. Best bang for the buck military grade. I run mine on a 300 BLK SBR. This would be the cheapest optic that I would go into combat with. High end- I don't really have what most consider high end but I guess for me either a T-1 if you want red dot or Accupoint 1-4x if you want magnification. I have both and it would be tough to choose. The accupoint does great on my 14.5" lightweight AR and seems to fit it better where the T-1 is more at home on my 10.5"-11.5" guns. Although you can make long shots with a red dot the accupoint spoils you. The accupoint is also pretty fast up close, almost red dot fast. If it didn't look weird to me on my 10.5" gun I would use it more but I can't get past the aesthetics.
  14. Did Zevtech do the stippling? That is how I want mine stippled.
  15. Thanks everyone. Got to shoot a bunch the past week. I like the gun even more now. Ate about 250 rounds of duty and frangible ammo with out a hiccup. I was really surprised that it cycled the frangible stuff given how light and dirty it is. This gun makes me look like a better shooter. I have a lot of rounds (10k plus) through my Glock 35 and I was already faster and tighter on follow up shots. It really makes me think of using it as my primary. Still a debate. Shot about 250 through my LW Champion Operator as well without an issue. So I have about 500 through the LW now and it has replaced my Glock 19 for carry (Gasp!). Never thought I would say that last part. They are both just amazingly comfortable guns to shoot fast and accurate. For some reason I prefer the recoil of the .45 to the .40, I guess less snap and it just feels soft. I thought the safety might give me issues transitioning from Glock. But I haven't had any issues and I seem to flick it off without any real conscious effort. The only other change I might make it to switch to a wider rear notch without tritium as I like all black rear sight and more light around front sight post.
  16. Finally got my MC Operator. This is my first real attempt at building a 1911 that is duty worthy. Added A Nighthawk one piece magwell/mainspring housing and VZ Alien grips. The magwell fits surprisingly flush. Still not sure on future modifications (suggestions welcomed) maybe a Wilson Combat Bulletproof extractor. Can't wait to shoot it. Here are the same pics from my cell that are in the Colt thread.
  17. I carry both on duty and off duty with a weapon light. Use a Raven Concealment Phantom light bearing holster and a TLR-3 IWB on Glock 19. I'm only 5'10" 165lbs and notice no difference in concealability. The TLR-3 though not super bright is lightweight. On duty either have a TLR-1 HL or Surefire X300. My 1911s have rails as well but waiting on my IWB holster to ship. In short I like rails and lights. Probably cause I worked midnights for years I have it instilled to always have a light.
  18. I can understand that. I have a 1959 National Match my wife's grandfather gave me. But in the end decided on the MC Operator to go with my LW Champion Operator. It was a tough decision between the Colt Rail Gun and MC Operator. The MC Operator just felt better between the two samples I have handled, nothing I could put my finger on.
  19. I got the same MC Operator just haven't got it yet. I also got a LW Champion Operator for CCW. Put some old VZ Aliens in hyena brown on the LW but haven't decided on grips for the MC Operator. It will wear VZ grips just got to decide which ones. Also ordered a Nighthawk 1pc magwell/mainspring housing.

    Next Gen Beretta

I like it. I'm not a DA/SA guy but if I could lighten the pull on the DA a little and convert to G I might buy one. I like the brown scheme and if they make it in TN I will like it even more.
  21. When will these hit the streets? And where do I get one?
  22. Don't know if this is a little off topic, how secure are some of the vehicle safes? I know they make them just never saw anyone on here post about them. Might be a good idea.
  23. I'm holding out for the new BCM Gunfighter Stock in FDE. It is available now in black. Currently run CTR on SBR.
