  1. You have a subcompact, compact, and fullsize so I would go with a 34/35/41 depending on caliber preference.
  2. Mike, I'm not really that optimistic on getting it back anytime before summer. However, I do have another SBR stamp I'm waiting on for one I sent myself before I bought the suppressor from you. That is the one I am anticipating being back sooner. I'm at about 9 months on that one. Don't worry I'm not freaking out yet, lol. I know I got a while on the suppressor. Hope business is going well. Chris
  3. I will be following this closely as my dates are close to yours but I have not had an error as far as I know.
  4. +1 for LawEnforcementSalesTN. Mike is a good guy.
  5. I have a BattleComp and have several thousand rounds through it. I think it works really well at what it was designed to do. All my other work buddies seem to think it keeps the barrel flatter on recoil as do I. We all have the consensus that it is also louder and had more flash than an A2. On all my new builds I have been using the BCM mod 1 and think it does a good all around job. Slight muzzle rise compared to BC but less noise. It seems with this type of item there are give and takes. You can't have it all. The price to benefit ratio seems better to me with the BCM but the BC is by no means a bad product.
  6. 173rdABN - were those the ones that went pending around July?
  7. Hold out for the Geissele. I have two SD-C triggers in ARs and they completely spoiled me on anything else. I would have no problem buying anything Geissele completely on blind faith that it will be awesome.
  8. I bought from LawEnforcementSales on here and seemed very painless and would recommend them. However waiting on my stamp has proved very painful.
  9. Very nice! I use Aero stuff on my builds, I like them a lot. Very nice photos!

    Glock 42

I might get one. I have nothing smaller than my Glock 19, which I carry everyday, but have desired a pocketable sized weapon. Really will have to compare it to the others in hand before I decide. One plus, although ridiculous, is that my department will get a better warm and fuzzy when I do my off duty quals with something that says Glock on the slide. If I want to carry a p238 or 1911 style they require an additional 1911 operators course which is near impossible to get into.
  11. 173rdABN- my dates are almost identical to yours. Im hoping by spring. My first stamp last year took 8 months from sending so we will see. Please keep us updated.
  12. To me my 1-4 Accupoint is significantly faster than my 1.5-4 mark AR. Pretty much everything about it seems better to my eyes. Of course there is a price difference. The frame around the glass really disappears running both eyes open. It is now my primary duty optic. I did a mini review on here a while back. Trijicon almost lost me with the problems I had with my SRS (they fixed it though) but they won back my confidence with the TR24g.
  13. I need this! I really have been wanting a 556 AK. I wonder how reliable those mag conversions are?
  14. Added pic of the .22 conversion marked Colt. Finish matches the .45 perfectly. Mags also say Colt. What do you think total set up is worth? Will never sell just curious.
  15. Thanks guys. I have owned a 1911 before just not one this nice. I will definitely baby this thing but still want to shoot it at least every couple of months. I was just concerned since this one seems more geared for target shooting, something I know nothing about. Do you think I should run the 16lb spring and one of those shock buffers. Never used one but read online some people recommend them for this model.
  16. Pretty much got the best Christmas present ever from my grandfather in-law. It's a Colt National Match .45 ACP with an additional .22 cal conversion. Don't really know much about it other than he said an old Shelby County Sheriff at one time owned it. It appears the safety and slide stop are aftermarket but there is a bag of originals in the box. Not sure how old it is if someone could help me out, the serial number is 24XX-NM. Anything I should know. I don't really believe in safe queens so need to know if it is safe to run regular loads. I do know he shot it with duty ammo and the spring is aftermarket (have original too) but he didn't know what spring he had put in it. The finish seems very good minus a few scratches from maybe a wedding ring on the grip and no noticeable holster wear. I'm not really knowledgeable on 1911 models in the Colt line as they have always been unattainable. Let me know your thoughts. Big question is what factory ball ammo can i safely run with say a 16/18 lb recoil spring. Crappy phone pic:
  17. I think it works really well and I only shoot both eyes open. I ran through my house with it and have no problem. Seems about the same as red dots. I will have to actually get in the shoot house at work to see how it handles live fire. I really like how the housing just disappears. With my aimpoint pro there seems to be a lot of thickness and clutter around in my view. You can really float the triangle with minimal practice on the TR24. And the FOV is spectacular.
  18. ACOG reticles would be an improvement. The triangle is fast though, which was my primary goal with a secondary goal of being able to reach out a little bit with better target identification. The triangle is acceptable to me though not optimal.
  19. Got my Accupoint TR24g 1-4x green triangle and Bobro extended mount. Love it! On 1x it is super fast and excellent fov. Seems like it will have no problem at cqb range even in smaller rooms and while on the move. Triangle is easy to pick up and extremely bright. The tritium is way brighter than my previous ACOG which I assume the ACOG was dimmer so to work with NVGs but I don't know. I don't have to wait for my eyes to adjust at all to the dark and the reticle is still bright. Glass is usual Trijicon, which is excellent for a sub 1k optic and the body feels robust. Downsides: I do not consider this a precision optic. I see this as more of a better solution to the aimpoint with magnifier option. Nothing wrong with those set ups if they work for you, just not my thing. The TR24g is a little heavy compared to just a T1 or other small optics without magnifiers. The weight is not absurd, just don't get one thinking it will be a lightweight. If you are a super ninja you also need to be aware that there is some visible illumination leaked out around the fiber-optics in total darkness. If you have night sights on a pistol it looks about equivalent to that. The TR24g does have a hood you can rotate over the fiber optic to adjust reticle brightness and minimize the illumination leak. Another negative is you can't co-witness. At 1x it distorts your front sight post enough to be unusable. However anything beyond 3ft looks like true 1x to my eyes and tracking is easy. I see a lot of concerns of reticle washout but I don't see the issue. When I force it to washout by looking at a white wall in the dark with my tlr-1hl turned on the reticle turns black but is still useable. When I use my SRS or Aimpoint in the same manner they washout completely with no usable reticle. Now I could toggle up two levels of intensity on the red dots but I really don't like taking a hand off the weapon while entering an unknown. Also don't like starting off two level brighter. There are ways to work around this such as running a front sight up but just wanted to show some differences between the two types of optics. I know this doesn't really cover a lot of detail so ask any questions. Initial impression is this is a keeper. Excellent general purpose optic that does everything good. Kind of a Jack of all trades Master of none. This will probably become my primary work optic I like it that much. Will I sell off my Aimpoint, SRS, and Leupold and buy TR24s for all my rifles, no. It did shrink my regret of selling my 4x ACOG as I enjoy the flexibility. ACOGs will always have a place in my heart though. Pics to follow once I decide which rifle it is staying on.
  20. I just ordered a Trijicon Accupoint TR24g 1-4x triangle reticle. I will let you know how that works out for me. Big downside of the Accupoint is the lack of reticle options. For my purposes of 300yds and in I don't have a problem with the triangle, or should I say I don't think I will. I also have a Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 1.5-4x and I enjoy that although at 1.5 it can be a little slower than my aimpoints seem to be at close up work. Not much though.
  21. I use the Rustoleum on mine. I found it doesn't hold up real well unless you use a clear coat and also let it cure a lot longer. I do like how matte it is and the colors. I use AERVO matte clear coat.
  22. Decided to repaint 2 of my ARs. Hard to tell in the pics but the 14.5" is sand, khaki, and earth brown Rustoleum and the 16" is same plus a hint of forest green. Plus Aervo matte clear coat. Sorry for the bad pics.
  23. Nice job! I'm a bit addicted to painting my guns at the moment as well. I generally don't like the defined line camo jobs but this one fits the Tavor.
  24. Just finished a 14.5" AR build I've been working on. The lower was already complete and I purchased it on the TGO classifieds (thanks mcordell!). Future mods include Battle Arms ambi safety (I'm a lefty), raptor charging handle, and a better light. Specs as follows: AERO upper blem AERO lower ACS-L stock FDE H2 buffer ALG trigger AIM surplus NIB BCG TROY Alpha Rail FDE plus fde squid grips BCM mid-length lightweight 14.5" barrel BCM Comp mod 1 perm attached MBUS pro buis Aimpoint Pro Magpul MOE plus grip fde Magpul AFG FDE
