  1.   In my humble opinion the reason most special interest groups place their color, creed or preference in everybody's face is so they can gain special rights not equal rights.  I'm not saying that is what this dude is doing but it's the main reason most do at all.  At my job(26 years) I've worked with hundreds and hundreds of gays and most of them that place their sexual pref on their sleeve is so nobody else can have an opinion about ANYTHING that would differ from theirs.  The gays push our employer into a very delicate dance to enforce our work rules.  We've had men show up to work wearing the women's uniform skort daring the company to enforce the uniform policy and then then company has to defend itself from a discrimination lawsuit.  If I've heard it once, I've heard it a hundred times, "If they fire me, I'll sue them because I'm gay!".  The company last year had to define each piece of uniform clothing as either men's or women's.         I don't give a @%^$# what someone else likes or dislikes especially when they try to force me understand or agree with them.     Dale Carnegie says, "Those convinced against their will, are of the same opinion still."
  2. For the left, tolerance is a one way dead end street.
  3. Armytek Optoelectronics   armytek dot com         Has anybody ever touched, smelled, used or owned any of these guys products?  They are Chinese but(of course) they look like they are real reasonably priced.  My lumen addiction wants more lights and these look like they would fit nicely into many areas of my life.  I've bought the cheap package of 12 Chinese lights from Tractor Supply and wasn't disappointed, I hated to use them.  I felt like after I used the light I should throw it away they are so cheap.
  4. Welcome to TN and TGO. You aren't going to find a better group of people in one spot. Where did you come from?
  5. Bummer. I think they look great. I've got an Ergo the plug won't stay in. It is annoying.
  6. I pooped myself watching that!  I'd rather juggle chainsaws while bungee jumping than milk those snakes.
  7.    Goldenrod a must and bolt the safe down a must.  Anything beyond that is just to make us feel better.  A friend of mine is a cop and he once investigated a home robbery where the perps stole a bunch of Dewalt cordless tools next door and used a 18v circular saw to go right through the garage door in minutes then helped themselves to the contents of the garage.  The door alarm on the "people" door never went off because the door wasn't opened.    whitewolf, I'm not judging, I'm laughing.
  8.     Uh, I've done that!  That hurts.....
  9. How do you like that pistol grip?  I really like the grip, I've seen those only online and been afraid to buy one.
  10.  I think what kills me about professional sports is there are no real professionals playing sports.  These so called professionals can't speak English even though they are born in this country.   These same so called professionals seem to have trouble keeping their junky asses out of jail.  I've had zero trouble, as an adult, seeing the difference between right and wrong.  There is never any real sanctions for the trouble these guys get in.  The owners don't care if these guys kill kittens as long as the "professional" brings an income to the team on game day.  Cities pay millions and millions of MY money to build stadiums that are used a few dozen times of the year and employ a few dozen employees for a few months out of the year while the same cities discourage a big company from coming in and employing hundreds of employees for the entire year.  But why would a city leader want to sit in a skybox at Acme Tool Works.        But that is one mans opinion.
  11. I can't crack the location code.  Where is this store?
  12. I saw something on TV about gangs from up north targeting gun stores down south to stock up on firearms for their illicit trade and other nefarious activity. (can you tell I've been reading my Readers Digest word power?)
  13. When I had a Win machine and kept getting too many BSOD's I would install a new HD and use the old one as an internal backup and that way I could retrieve all of my old data real easy before a format of the old drive.
  14.   Last year my wife was breast diagnosed with cancer and it really didn't seem very fair to me.  Here she is early forties, eats well, exercises all the time and is a very devote Christian woman.  I hosted a pity party for myself almost every day.  On the other hand my wife is a very positive uplifting spirit but I was having trouble getting my spirits up.  Then on the very first day of Chemo I quickly realized, we don't have it so bad. Our chemo treatments were 6 hours and we watched people suffer through really bad bad chemo treatments.  That was when I knew, "It really could be worse".  I've always hated when someone says, It could be worse be cause that totally lacks any empathy.  My wife went through 3 surgeries, 6 chemo treatments and 33 radiation treatments and never complained once.   I am very thankful for my wife, the strength the Lord gave us both, for all people in my life and last but not least to see my beautiful wife get better and better every day.    Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here!
  15. Sour is right, And everyone on here too....
  16.   I met a young lady the other day while traveling.  Shortly after we started talking and she told me she was in Nashville because she tried to kill herself half a dozen or so times.  While I looked at her in disbelief she then told me she had been abused in many different ways by multiple family members.  I'm sure I had a priceless look on my face when she told me I hadn't blinked in a few minutes.  She had a very outgoing(obviously), beautiful personality and had a new, wonderful outlook on life.  I really didn't know what to say except I was really glad she hadn't been successful in killing herself and that the privilege was all mine in getting to meet her.  She said she had been in therapy multiple times but it wasn't until she came to Nashville to a faith based therapy that found her own healing through Christ.  It is a small reminder to me that I have such wonderful family and friends.  I can't begin to imagine not having the safety and comfort of my father and mother as a child and through my young adult life.     I decided to give to her personally through the home and to give to the home where she stays this year.  I have a lot to be thankful for and she really made a difference in my life.   Tw
  17. Bersa, XP won't really go away, MS won't support it any longer..  Which only means (I think) hardware and bug fixes won't get updates anymore. I've got an old XP machine continue to use till it's too buggy.
  18. The problem I've had trouble with these fuel packs is in the summer they swell up and deform and it's hard to stack more than one.  But I really love the concept.
  19.     I saw on TV that it was filmed with the trucks going forward and he Van Dumb was wearing a safety harness that they CGI'ed it out..   It still looks cool.
  20. Great story!! I want this place..without the weed.  My boss would test me every week if they left the weed.      http://sparkreport.net/2009/03/the-full-story-behind-the-great-tennessee-pot-cave/   http://www.ssqq.com/archive/vinlin19.htm
  21. I remember Brad Pansy singing at the White House after Barry's first inauguration.  Brad was crying and said he was so happy for the United State.
