Well I finally found one. I've been looking for this particular model for some time now. A shop close to my house has had one for 3 months, and of course by the time it took me to get the cash and go to get it, it was sold literally the day before.

But alas, due to the power of the Internet (and TGO's Want to Buy Section), Pinmaster was kind enough to let his go, and the rest they say, is history. I'm one of those gun owners who sometimes buys for looks, sometime buys for function. This was a "looks" purchase. I'm really into details on a nice 1911, and like the contrasting colors of the slide/frame/grips etc.

Wow what a great 1911. It feels great and the workmanship is top notch (and it was well taken care of, good job Mike!). After getting my first 1911 a couple months ago, I was bit by the bug and this is the second in my small collection. I'll take some pictures tonight. If anyone is in the market for a mass-produced full-size 1911 at a reasonable price, I highly recommend one of these.

Whoop!

Thanks for the compliments guys, appreciate it.

I know they use a laser for the etching (as most manufacturers do), but as far as someone doing custom stuff by hand, I don't think they do a lot. Could be wrong. It's not like a Nighthawk or Wilson Combat where everything's custom just about.

Looks great Jason :wave:You may wanna delete the serial number pic just in case there are any loons learking the forums.

I am glad that the GRII found a good home it was a very nice looking, great shooting .45. Best I remember it is clean, lubed and ready to rock. I cant remember if I used CLP or my Wilson lube but either way it should work great when you take it to the range for the 1st time. This may be one that I regret selling down the road :( LOL
