I didnt know they had gun stores in commifornia. I thought they were outlawed there.;)

But you are welcome here.:P

Actually ca gun owners are a pretty creative bunch, the make a BS law we find a way around it, they say we can have ARs cuz they have evil feature we remove the pistol grip and make them legal.

by the way thanks everyone, I LOVE the southern hospitality.

The weather takes getting used to. 95* heat in Cali is way different than 95* in TN, just due to the humidity. Likewise with the cold. I'd rather do -25* in Montana than +25 in TN.

Jobs depend on the field you're looking for and the area. Some parts of TN, like Spring Hill (where the now- closed GM plant was) aren't doing well at all. Other places are doing okay. What type of work are you looking for?

I think you would like Tn especilly E Tn but I am biased as I have lived there for a significant part of my life. As far as the economy, it's tough here, but no tougher than anywhere else in todays time. With your background in firearms and training, I can't imagine you having a hard time finding work with the sudden influx of people seeking to get their permits after the election. Good luck in your decision.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. If things work out seems like i'll be moving by Sept. I'm thinking of going back to school, new GI Bill is awesome, for service-members who served after 9/11 they even pay for your housing, and books. As for as work I guess I'll try to find a gun store to work in.
