To be clear, I'm not going to renew until I hear what the NRA has to say at Friday's press conference.  If they stand with us as gun owners and fight against another so-called Assault Weapons Ban then I will sign up as a life member.  If they roll over, I'm done with them as an organization.

But I'll ping you for that # just in case.  Thanks.  :)

I would like to do this also, if someone is willing

Get a life membership, or help someone get one?  If you want to get a life membership, pm me and I'll give you my number.  I'll do it for anyone who wants to get life membership.

Thanks, David, for this and all you do.

I just used the NRA Contact Us link, and let them know that I would cancel membership immediately if their "meaningful contributions" included any further restrictions on our gun rights.

I am a life member. I received a member survey/request for donations before the election (probably October?).

There was also a letter with information on how to sign up others for $300 or $350.

I'll see if I can dig up the letter and post the details, otherwise if someone finds out if it is still available, I am happy to "sponsor" people with my #.

Basically you just need another members life member number, call the NRA Membership department, select the life member option, give the person's life member number, and then sign up.

at one time all you need was the life time member number and name.  then you called the nra and tell then that member (name and number) was your sponsor for the $300.00 life time membership.  you had to asked for the $300.00 program.  if this program is still active and you want someone to sponsor you, pm me and i will be glad to do so.
