Got a email from chase that my bank account was suspended (yes I know) so I clicked their link and proceeded to enter the most bogus info I could and it actually logged me in. I'm going to startfilling out all the emils I get with bull crap info just to screw with the scammers.

Don't you love it when you get these emails from places you have never had an account with? I used to frequently get " emergency emails" from Fifth Third National Bank,, I never even knew they existed, much less had a compromised account with them.

Lol,

I've had about a bottle of wine so I was just loose enough to have some fun. Just wait until the jerks type in my user name "youcankissmyass" and password "youdumbstupidprick" I'd love to see the look on their face.

My dad led some Nugerian scammers around once for quite awhile. He had compiled the emails together into one transcript at one point, but aparently it's been missing for years. Too bad, it was pretty funny to start out with and near hilarious at the end when he just started getting completely ridiculous.

It was full of stuff you'd catch in a second here, for instance; after clearing it with his personal physician, the good Dr. Pepper, old dad had them convinced at one point that he and his attorney Mr. Goodbar and were planning to head to Nigeria in person to handle the delicate matter of the princes seazed fortunes. His accountant, Mr. Pibb would be on call stateside.

In his first responding email he expressed his extreme displeasure that the gentleman had addressed him so informally. After all, his title may only be an honorary one, but one he is quite proud of nonetheless. My fathers "official title" you ask? Why, the Duke of York of course. Or some other nonsense, either way the circumstances of the appointment were absurd. Equally absurd was the guy went ahead and called him your excellency or whatever.

Have fun with the new hobby! ;)

I too played with a couple back when the Net was young and the scams first started appearing. Would just take a minute a pop on my end, but could tell they were laboriously spending time to compose on theirs.

One, I "sent" the money, but it apparently "got lost", had they guy going spending time checking on his end and whatnot...

I used to reply for kicks. I figured every minute they were chasing me was 1 less grandma scammed out of her money. There used to be 419 scam forums where people posted some funny interactions where they would get the scammers to send pictures holding homemade signs.

I've been tempted to do that, but haven't due to fear of them getting my IP address.  Seems like any sort of response would open the flood gates.

I think if they sent you an email they probably had your IP already but not sure...........jmho
