That should settle all of the "which caliber is best" debates

But seriously, with all the nice weather out doors ours have been open also for some fresh air and one screen slide door has no lock. I've thought of that too and usually have a side arm within arms reach. The guy got lucky it was only one BG and he was able to take advantage of a distraction. Had he / they been zip tied in the beginning or more than one scum bag, can you imagine if it were you, what would be racing through your mind?

I wouldn't have had to leave the room and come back, that's where they would've had a problem.

I'm sure it will come at that the deceased is a valued member of the community and didn't deserve to die. Seems to be the story all the time anyways. So many "good" people getting killed by innocent folks!

Since the gentle giant that would never hurt a flea (that had drugs in his system, just did a strong arm robbery then assaulted a cop and tried to grab his gun) or a 12 year old innocent school boy (that was on his way to get some ingredients to make a nice drug cocktail, was suspended form school for drugs, caught with stolen goods, tools and bragged about fighting and beating people up) stories have already been taken... The only thing that's left is for this guy to be a cheerleader from middle school that loves life, baby jesus and respects the law.

That will come out just as soon as the attorney is contacted.

They interviewed they guy on Channel 4 news at 5 or 6.  It as actually just dumb luck that there was a gun in the home according to him.  For some reason his son brought the gun home with him.  It didn't go into much about why, but he basically said that he remembered his son brought the gun home so he went and got it.  He said he was simply worried about the bad guys gun, so he shot at his hand.  He said he hit the gun and his hand and obviously a shot to the body that did the job.

He specifically made the statement that this is not something to celebrate.  He seemed like a nice guy, but it sounds like many other days of the week, this may have not turned out the same way.
