If you do, make sure you are not carrying when you wear it...cause I am sure that the jury will say YOU started the fight...

I know I know..its true...but still...

my 2 cents...but to answer your question, no, I probably wouldnt.

If deciding factor for your vote is that candidate is same race as you, then you ARE racist.

I agree totally.

I almost wish the views and positions of each candidate up for election could be presented with out seeing their face, race, gender, religious or political affiliation - at least initially.

There is something to be said for the way they present themselves, charisma, etc, but it seems that too often the real issues get overlooked due to all manner of prejudices...

Better?

I'll be wearing it because I think someone needs to say it...

Anyone who is offended by the shirt probably falls into that category themselves...

Again, if deciding factor for your vote is that candidate is same race as you, then sure, I'll call you a racist, since by logical definition and proof, you ARE.

So you are advertising the fact that you are a racist, and proud of it?

I didn't say I was anything or did anything. You missed the word "if" on the shirt.

I hate racism in all forms. That it goes unchallenged when it comes from a particular segment of society is wrong, too.

Like I said before, I think it's worth saying.

I think the statement comes off as more of a challenge to "meet your racism with mine" than an intellectual statement against it.

Possible outcomes of wearing this shirt...

1. People will "get it" and laugh

2. People will "get it" and challenge you

3. Logic / grammar / political geeks will take issue with some error in the phraseology and make fun of you on the Internet

I'd probably be in the first group.

As are most people I've talked to.

Just an informal poll to see if I should get more than a few made. Thanks for the feedback. Shirts should be here by Tuesday or Wednesday... PM me if you want one.

Actually, those of us who've been around guns and conservative political thought for a while realize how we're often seen by those who are on the political left. Specifically, they think we're a bunch of ignorant hicks. My preference for good grammar is simply my desire for their beliefs to not be based in fact. This makes their presumptuous, self-righteous attitude a bit less accurate and effective.

There's a lot more to "race" than simply skin color. I'll state unequivocally that I won't vote for Obama because he's "black" culturally and philosophically. On the other hand, I'd have no problem voting for someone like Thomas Sowell. The fact that Mr. Sowell's skin is black in no way determines the content of his character, nor does it determine his political philosophy. He's a man before he's a black man. Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan, et al., are decidedly racialistic. Obama feeds off this sort of thing, and that's to his detriment.

OhShoot - Who makes that holster? I'm looking for an IWB for my XD-40 SC but I haven't seen that one anywhere.

I seem to be "selling" a lot of these lately

Looks like he's added a leather strip to the front since I bought mine, or maybe that's a reinforcement option, dunno.

He has all those in store in stock, you'll have in a week or less.

He also does eBay as "dumbullardleather"; sometimes he lists them a little cheaper there or with free shipping, depending on which models he's listing.

I have THREE of these for diff guns...obviously, I'm quite pleased with them.

Sorry, didn't mean to shoot so close to you there.

For the record, I'm a pretty big stickler on grammatical errors. But I also realize that the majority of people walking the streets these days are pretty stupid and that belaboring the issue of comma placement on a silly shirt is.. well... pedantic.

How many times have you seen a sign outside a store advertising "Sandwich's on sale 2 for 1" and wondered what item belonging to the sandwich they were selling?

How many times did that keep you from eating two?

Food (pardon the pun) for thought.

Maybe it's just a problem with logic.

Yep, if you vote for or against anyone for no other reason that race....you are a racist.

Add a comma after white and it will read much better.

I personally think the reaction above shows how conditioned we have become to black racism. The assumption that he made some racist comment is interesting. The joke is exactly the opposite and yet we get these statements. You do realize you are agreeing with his shirt ..... right?
