I took a medical class with Shane Kerwin and I agree. He is a top notch instructor and just all around great guy. I'll continue to schedule his classes. Bob Allen is great as well--he is the director of training at Royal Range. Went to his active shooter training.

I think they will try whatever they can while not jeopardizing their control at midterm elections. I look for Biden to go after what he believes is easy and will not be drastic yet. If they maintain control at midterms, all bets are off at that point.

I have about given up on having political discussions where both parties can remain respectful. I can remember a time when friends could have different views and still be friends. Guess I'm getting old.

I bought one of their stripped lowers and installed a lower parts kit and then I set it on the shelf when the pandemic hit. I do plan to finish it with a Foxtrot upper at some point. Their 9mm bolt carrier seems to be heavy duty but I guess I will find out when I finish the project.

I'm with you on this one. Maybe in 15 years it would fit my budget.

You just brought up an extremely important point—we cannot go it alone and I am concerned with my extended family and their “head in the sand” mentality.

I live in a rural area; however I work in Murfreesboro and that concerns me the most. All my family has a commute that could take us to problem areas. My son and I have “get home bags” we carry with us all the time. I just need to convince my wife and daughter that they need to do the same. I do need to stock up on more water, food, MRE's, etc. so we can avoid getting out for a longer period of time just in case. My 3-5 day emergency stash doesn’t seem to be adequate anymore. I look forward to reading all these responses and determine what else I should consider.
