  1. These pistols might not have matching numbers if that's a concern to anyone.  The specs state "New lower receiver".  I don't know where they'd get a "new" Gen 2 receiver but there it is.
  2.   Why don't you like the mighty .40?  I thought you had one or two.
  3. That is a very nice specimen and I do believe your facts are correct.
  4.   Do they have an expiration date on the box?
  5. Never, ever listen to what comes out of the mouth of a WalMart ammo counter clerk unless it's "have a nice day".  I've heard enough ignorant BS from those people I can almost guarantee many probably have difficulty spelling their own names.
  6.   It's fairly small but you like old guns it's very good.  If you want table after table of AR's and the latest plastic fantastic don't bother.
  7.   They had a keen sense of history that greatly influenced their philosophies, something the people in this day and age completely lack.  Therefore, the U.S. will go the route predefined by history that every other nation has followed.
  8. This is what happens when politicians try to fix what they fucked up to begin with.

    Season 4

I certainly hope so but if Rick keeps up his drama I might not be able to tolerate watching anymore.  I'm sure there are plenty of offerings for that on the Lifetime channel for those that enjoy it.

    Walther PPK

It is nothing like a PPK, is only about 3 times bigger and feels like holding a brick, other than that why not?
  11. The lunacy increases at an increasing rate on a daily basis.
  12. Cool as a novelty, not a practicality.
  13.   This.  It's a 1260 round case of Yugo M67 brass-cased ammo.  Very good stuff but it is corrosive and the brass is not reloadable (unless you really like to decap berdan primers).
  14. Nice to know something that's been going on since headlights and radars where invented is OK.
  15. What is bullet up and down?   More importantly did you measure length of  the empty cases?  Sounds like some trimming is in order.
  16. Boyington did fly a P-40 as a member of the Flying Tigers in China.  When he rejoined the Marine Corps he then began flying Corsairs (the other coolest American plane of WWII).
  17. As a certified WWII plane nut and big fan of the B-17, which I think is the most beautiful plane ever created, this is good news.  I wish them all the best.
  18.   Those are 30 minute infomercials, at least the one's I'm aware of.  On "cable" only of course.  There are at least two of them.
  19.   It did a couple of months ago.  It is what it is, it's not like there where ever firearms or 2A commercials on TV in pretty much forever.
  20.   It would have been better if they were renovated and saved years ago.  Many other cities have had great success with old warehouses.
  21.   They were not gutted.  Still had roof and floors, although I think one was still damaged from the last fire.   If you look here.....https://maps.google.com/maps?q=knoxville+tn&ll=35.967994,-83.922975&spn=0.001992,0.002068&hnear=Knoxville,+Knox,+Tennessee&gl=us&t=h&z=19 you'll see the two warehouses as they were before last night.  To the right you can see what's left of the two warehouses lost in the massive fire 7 years ago.   I believe the Philco building is gone now.  Pictures I saw show collapsed walls.   I went outside this morning at about 8:00 and there was a strong smell of charoal fluid or something similar.  Didn't know anything about the fire until later.  Fireman on the news said the floors in those old warehouses were often treated with kerosene and other oils to keep the dust down.  That's one reason warehouse fires like this are so intense, along with the fact that there's nothing but wood inside 4 brick walls.
  22.   They were abandoned before Obama was elected.
  23. Looks like that's the abandoned warehouses downtown, or what was left of them after another massive fire 5 or 6 years ago.
  24. I prefer olive drab.  IHMO it's much more suitable to TN terrain.
