I have never tried it but you might wind up with leading and accuracy issues.   Those 9mm bullets are .356 diameter and a typical lead .38 is .358.

  I agree.  At least the first one might be somewhat tolerable with the addition of a cowbell or two as monkeylizard suggested.  Then it would actually serve a purpose.

You people that don't have any ammo and didn't plan ahead need to find something else to do for a while for things to get back to reasonable.  Prices will NEVER again be what they were but this is absoletly ridiculous.   $90 for a 525 box of Golden Bullets?  And you consider it?!?!?   I don't mean to rag on anyone, but just do not buy at that price.  I'd take up knitting before paying that much for .22 ammo but if you're really in need there's some 100% markup in the classifieds right now.

That's $7.21 for a box of 50.  Sounds like a mighty good price for 22 mag.
