You should be able to purchase a good 1911 for well under a $1000. Ruger Springfield, Remington, S&W and SIG all have great pistols well under $1000.

"My name is Mike Vanderbough, and I am a smuggler"
Moped replied to Chucktshoes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I'd say if the truth be known, we all here at TGO, are on one of more of their lists at the SPLC. Mr. Dees likes to put "angry white guys" like us, on lists. -
A fine example of a stoopid law!!!

Yes he was, until he made his views about the 2A known. Then his stock dropped like a rock.

Christie is no friend of ours. And Pro 2A people should never support him for any office.

Stopped using Google last year when they came out as anti 2A. Never used Chrome. I suspect most of the software companys are anti 2A though.

And then try him for treason as well as murder! Holder will not allow him to be sent to Gitmo though, which is what Graham was probably hinting at. -

You are correct! They didn't give him a Miranda Warning. So they can interrogate him to their hearts content! The U.S. Attorney General at the scene confirmed it. They don't have to in cases like this. And now since his Royal Highness, The Big O, is about to speak, it's time to get back to Knives Live TV (Ch. 222 on DirecTV). -

Yes he will! No way Eric Holder will let this out the DOJ's hands. He will be tried in a Federal Court. -

If he lives and I figure he will, at this point, they will get him to talk. I agree with TMF on this. If there is a network, we need to roll it up and fast! Those that wish us harm, just got a whole new plan on how to hurt us! A plan that works! And before you all say that it didn't really work, consider that the businesses of Boston lost an estimated 330 million dollars today, because of the citywide shutdown. Not to mention all the man hours spent in this manhunt today, by the various Government agencies! All for two pieces of shit, that got through! Multiple that by ten or twenty attacks, all across the country and just imagine what would happen! Nice to see the people cheering the police! That was a tough job they had to do today! -
Giffords 'furious' about Senate gun control votes
Moped replied to Beretta Bob's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I'm not going to lose any sleep over her being furious. She is a puppet. -
I probably would comply, but I would have misgivings without a proper search warrant.

Reid say it may come back up after propaganda is spread.
Moped replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
There will be a chance to bring up this bill again, as the investigation into the Boston Marathon Bombing proceeds. There are going to be questions about where these two individuals got their firearms. God forbid, that they were bought at a Gun Show!!! I am hoping that the weapons they were using were stolen or purchased through an FFL. Regardless of where they got them, it will be used as a reason for more gun control. I don't think we are done with this issue yet. Wait and see! -

He is in favor of what ever will get him the best ratings. He is an ass and always has been and is no different than Peirs Morgan. -
Knoxville Gun Control Activists Rally, Ch 10 News Story
Moped replied to runco's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
A few dozen was actually 24 and one of those was a kid, that probably got drug there, by their parental unit. -
How hard would it have been to do that same expansion in Kentucky and Arkansas, instead of NY? I bet it would have not only been easier, but also cheaper! No ,Remington sold us down the river for a dollar. So no more money from me. Obviously, they don't need it anymore. They got their big shiny contract from the Government. We didn't turn on Remington, they turned on us.

But the thing is the next vote only needs 51 to pass. Our two Senators did a lot of damage today. I will not forget when they come up for election the next time.

Sweet!!! I wish ESEE would make models of their knives without the coatings on them, just so you can do stuff like this, easily!

I think they are great shotguns, but the 12ga kick is a bit punishing for me. I can handle the 20ga all day long though. What I like about them is if I want I to go tramping around the family farm, it's lite and handy. Much more fun to carry around and shoot than my Browning Auto 5!

Mass stabbing at college in Texas.

Following in Great Britain's foot steps, the next items the Liberals will want to regulate are sharp instruments!!! -
If your set on a 410, I'd go with an H&R single shot. However, 410 is pretty pricey when it comes to buying shells. You might want to consider a H&R 20ga. Shell prices about half.

They are trying to take away any incentives to being successful. They don't look ahead. The question they are failing to ask is, who is going to pay for all this stuff in the future, when everyone is on the Government dole. Liberals are stupid people!

Any leads on mechanical engineering work around Nashvile
Moped replied to brent_strong's topic in General Chat
If he just wants to move to Tennessee, then you have Chattanooga with the VW plant and related industries. Denso is located in Knoxville as well. They employ a ton of people. If he wants to get out of the automotive arena, there are several engineering firms that are HQed in Nashville like Gresham Smith and Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon. -
Starting that slippery slope. First it will start with the wealthy. Then it will be the well off. And later on the middle class. They don't really need that $1 million in their IRA, so they can retire early. The one piece of advice I've given to my all my kids and their friends that have graduated from college or are working good jobs that I know, that they need to start their 401K and max it out immediately. They don't have it in their pocket, they will never miss it. That way, if they want to retire at 55 they will be able to afford to. You know what all of in the middle class needs to do is quit working and go on the Government tit and suck this country on down the financial tubes and then start all over again!!! If we are all on welfare, then no one will be paying Obama and the Liberal's salaries and the Government will fall apart!!! Far fetched I know, but I get tired of paying for all the stupid stuff our Government does!!!
