I read that in the Knoxville Paper today. Seems the British are leading this little endeavor. I wish we'd clean the whole mess out of New York and send them packing back across the pond, so they could leave us the hell alone!

If you have a family to move, a bike is in no way practical. Your best option is to already be gone. Be ahead of the crowd. I understand that option is not always going to be available. However if your prepared, you can still be one of the first moving. Magic, I never had the idea that there were a lot of sheeple in Sevier County. It might be better to get the vehicle off your car lot.

What or who ever it was I hope he comes back against Alabama! That was a fun game to watch!

I too thought Walther when I first saw it. Looks nice though. Wouldn't mind shooting one.

That one looks like it's a candidate for a new stock!

Dang! I wished I lived in Nashville... Wait a minute! What am I saying! No I don't! That's just crazy talk! But I sure like that price!!! Don't think there are any at that price here.

That's an easy one. Springfield 1911a1 .45ACP .357/9mm Convertible Blackhawk .22 cal bolt action Rifle. (I have a Remington I'm pretty happy with) 12 Gauge Remington 870 Springfield M1A If I could add a sixth one, I'd pick a Ruger MkII or MkIII .22 Auto with a bull barrel.

I had one of the Handi-rifles in .308. Another gun I wish I had kept. Gun fire arm. Had a bit of kick, due to the light weight. Decent trigger on it too. Not real slow to reload either for a single shot. I got to where I could reload it and get another round off in under 5 seconds.

I got another vote for the Marlin 336 30/30. Hard to beat one in East Tennessee. Light, fast, decent stopper. Of course, I haven't hunted in 12 years, but that was my favorite woods rifle back then!

Sorry to hear about your loss. Been there and had to do it too. Worst thing in the world. My heart goes out to you!

Don't worry! I'll keep it between you and me! I love secrets! Besides, I doubt he notice something like that in his BOB anyhow, being the strong young lad he is!

AH! I just went back and read the first post and noticed that they have changed the shoot to the 11th! Thank you for pointing that out! That's a bit confusing with the thread title showing the 4th! Hope others have seen it too.

Boy, I bet that would be a true pain to blow up by mouth!

Excellent point Suntzu! That sounds like a very valuable bag to clean and keep after the first use. I think in a survival situation, you'd want to save most everything if possible. With the exception of used TP or whatever it is that one might be using, like poison ivy or oak leaves.

I'm bringing the Hi-Point out Sunday along with all my mags, even my crappy ones. If figure if your willing, I get you to show me what you do to make them shootable again (that's assuming they were ever shootable to begin with). Your right about the magazines being the weak point in the weapon. I think they are a little flimsy too. I also got a couple of 15 rounders that I just don't have time to fool around with that I'd like to trade. I got one of those ATI stocks on it now and it doesn't play nice with the 15 rounders.

Atten: E.TN **Norris Range Sunday Oct 11th**

I'm still planning on making it. One big problem though. I was going back through all the pictures and realized I might not be so welcome. I don't have a Mosin to shoot. Can I still come and at least watch? -
I sure wish they'd come out with a dependable double stack 30 round mag for the Hi-Point! It's a dandy little carbine to shoot! I even thought about buying the one that's available in the classifieds, just to have another one!

Great news! Personally, I'm surprised! I didn't think it had a prayer of passing, after the city went the other way. Just so you all know, the five commissioners that voted for the ban are all "Inner City" commissioners. Strickland and McKenzie represent the 1st District which is Downtown, East Knoxville and Burlington. Broyles and Harmon represent the 2nd District which is basically North Knoxville. And Saunders represents the 4th District which is Sequoyah Hills and the Bearden Area.

I believe the last time I was in J Floyd's, they had one with the box and both cylinders. I believe the asking price was somewhere in the neighborhood of $500.

I wouldn't have the willies about buying a used firearm. Most people buy them, shot a box through them and they end up in a drawer. Just make sure that you are comfortable with it when you purchase it. If I had the money Rightwinger's XD would be mine!

I had two of them. One was a 4 5/8" with a .22mag Cylinder and the other is a 7" with a .22LR. Cylinder. I got broke into about four years back and they made off with the .22 mag, a Norinco 1911 and a Browning Hi-Power. The .22 mag a great little gun! Loved to shoot it. It's longer cousin is still a great little shooter. My ten year old son loves to shoot it at the range when we go. It's his favorite! Fortunately it was at my dads or it would have been taken too. Great pistol to hand down to a grandson sometime. Don't let him sell it!

They are looking good! I've been impressed! Lot better than last years team! I was a Fulmer man till last year. I think Kiffin is going to put the excitement back in to Tennessee Football, but it's going to take a year or two. He needs to get his boys in and then we'll see what he can do. He's definitely made the right moves in recruiting so far! Mean while the offense is playing much better than expected. Florida looks frustrated. Lets hope they continue to be frustrated!!!

Oops! My bad!!! Been a long time since I read that one. I think I was in High School at the time and dinosaurs still roamed the planet!

Sounds like all you need is a new stock and a cleaning rod. Go pick up a Shot gun news and peruse the pages. There is a dealer in the back that carries stuff like that. I think they even have the monopods for them. You can also pick up a reproduction bayonet. I think form IMI-USA. Thank your uncle a bunch for the great gift and congrats!!!

I watched and enjoyed it for the most part. I wasn't impressed with the battle at the end. Seemed a little lame. It was a show that made you think about what you might do in that situation, though.
