  1. Our positive test numbers continue to rise., here in Knox County No shocker there. We had 17 more new cases as of 10AM this morning. The good thing is we only have 4 hosiptalized and still only 5 deaths. https://covid.knoxcountytn.gov/case-count.html
  2. I was at Rural King a couple of weeks ago and caught Winchester.357 JSPs for for $25 a 50 round box. I bought my limit.
  3. 43 new cases in Knox County, since last Friday. Hospitalizations are up to 6. No new deaths. There have been 503 known cases, so far. https://covid.knoxcountytn.gov/case-count.html
  4. Pretty much. Only 2 in the hospital here in Knox County as of today. Still only 5 deaths.
  5. I'd never be uncomfortable with a high power!!!
  6. Same for all of us.
  7. I honestly don't know. I rotate through three pistols right now and sometimes throw in a fourth, depending on the situation. Today alone, I've carried two different pistols. The best is very subjective. The best for you is the one you like, will shoot and practice with, as others have said.
  8. There was a big jump yesterday in new cases here in Knox County. 23. Still we only have one currently hospitalizatied and only 5 deaths.
  9. I believe you can get a second longer Barrel for it too.
  10. Those sub $300 Caniks are getting hard to find. I think the cat's out of the bag.
  11. I see no disernible difference between the two cities anymore. Both have high crime rates and are liberal bastions within this great state. Memphis has just been going about it a lot longer and the power elite there are more entrenched and possibly more corrupt. That last not may not be totally true, though. Together, both will end up turning Tennesee Blue, before too much longer.
  12. I’m going to through the Ruger LC9S in 9mm. I have the Pro model and I love. So does my wife. They aren’t made anymore, but you still see them used. Ruger does still Make a version called the EC9S. The sights are cast as a part of the slide and finish is a matte type. They usually run around $250 or so. https://www.budsgunshop.com/mobile/product/52078/ruger+ec9s+9mm+312+black+7%2b1 If 9mm .38 pr .380 is just too much for her, check out .32ACP. There are several pistols available out there in this nice little round. Starting with a Keltec P-32. I had one of these I pocket carried all the time. When my oldest got her HCP, but didn’t have a pistol to carry, I gave it to her and bought a Ruger LCP. I actually miss that P-32. It s a great little pistol. I have a friend that swears by a Beretta Tomcat .32. Nice looking pistol and well built. Usually runs around $450. Lastly, as mentioned before, there are a bunch of Beretta Police Trade-Ins that have brought into the Country lately. They are Model 81s and come with 1 12 round mag, but they have spare mags available for a nominal price. I’ve been wanting one of these for myself, to be honest. When I had that little Keltec, I sorta fell in love with the .32 ACP round. I found it to be accurate and follow up shots were quick and easy. And at 9.6 oz that little Keltec was the perfect pocket carry. Just a tad lighter than the LCP, but with a lot less kick for such a small gun. https://www.budsgunshop.com/mobile/product/15204/kel-tec+cnc+p-32+p-32+7%2b1+32+acp++27" https://www.budsgunshop.com/mobile/product/25071/beretta+3032+tomcat+32+acp+inox+stainless https://www.classicfirearms.com/beretta-mod-81-pistol-surplus-used-good-very-good/
  13. Try here.
  14. I’m sure a lot of people in VA thought that too, until the Party of the Anti Gunners, took over both houses and the Governor’s office. Now look where they are. Protests seemed to have turned away the worst of the proposed anti gun bills. But I doubt such tactics will work in DC, Should that same situation happen. Be ever vigilant. It probably won’t pass this time, but this time next year, we could all be facing this again, with votes enough in both the House and Senate to send to President Biden for his signature.
  15. Fact check: Democrat's bill would increase taxes on firearms and ammunition Molly Stellino, USA TODAY USA TODAYMay 24, 2020, 4:39 PM EDT The claim: H.R. 5717 would implement a 30% tax on all gun sales and 50% tax on all ammunition sales Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., introduced in January H.R. 5717, a bill that would strengthen measures to prevent gun violence. It has evoked mixed reactions from the public and moved to the forefront of conversation surrounding legislation not related to the coronavirus pandemic. A Facebook user made a post in late April calling the bill, known as the Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020, “tyranny.” The user said the bill “will add 30% tax on all guns and 50% tax on all ammo.” What H.R. 5717 would change if passed The bill’s intent is “to end the epidemic of gun violence and build safer communities by strengthening federal firearms laws and supporting gun violence research, intervention, and prevention initiatives,” as stated in its introduction. If passed it would, among other measures, require individuals to obtain a license to possess firearms, raise the minimum age for purchasing firearms and require law enforcement be notified when an individual does not pass a background check. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., introduced in February a companion bill, S. 3254. Both proposals aim to ban assault weapons, a class of firearms that was banned between 1994 and 2004 under a federal law that was allowed to expire. Companion bills are meant to “promote simultaneous consideration of a measure,” according to the Senate. Section 803 of Johnson’s H.R. 5717 details the changes that would be made to taxes on firearms and other related items. It would make pistols, revolvers and other firearms taxable at 30%. Shells and cartridges would be taxable at 50%. In the United States Code, a firearm is defined as “any weapon (including a starter gun) which will ... expel a projectile by the action of an explosive,” “the frame or receiver of any such weapon,” “any firearm muffler or firearm silencer,” or “any destructive device.” Destructive devices are bombs, grenades, rockets, missiles, mines or similar instruments. Ammunition consists of multiple subcomponents: bullets, cartridge cases, powders and primers designed to be used in a firearm, according to federal law. Andy Phelan, communications director for Johnson, said it would increase taxes on all ammunition, which is commonly referred to as "shells and cartridges" in policy. 39% of the money collected from these taxes would be put toward research on and programs for gun violence prevention. The legislation does not specify how the funds would be allocated or where the other 61% of the money would go. Firearms and ammunition are currently taxed at about 10% and are collected through various avenues. The taxes are used for different purposes like wildlife preservation and hunter safety and education. The bill was referred to the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security in late March. It has not yet been voted on by the House. Our ruling: True Under H.R. 5717 firearms would be taxable at 30% and ammunition would be taxable at 50%. A portion of these taxes would be used toward gun violence prevention research. We rate this claim as TRUE because it is supported by our research. 16. Dolomite hasn’t been on since March of 2018, sadly. He was one of the best sources for both AR and AK modifications and builds. He is missed.

Really enjoyed you video! I’ve been a fan of PPCs for a while now.
  18. The coach guns on the market today, seem to be going up in price. Hard to find one now-a-days for under $500.
  19. Exactly!!! Any Bond gun that Sean Connery is cool! I've also been eyeing those Beretta 81s over at classic Firearms. I just really like this little round, ever since I bought a Keltec P32, several years ago. https://www.classicfirearms.com/beretta-mod-81-pistol-surplus-used-good-very-good/
  20. I'd love to have one of these in .32ACP.
  21. Haven't heard of any confiscators being killed in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York or any other state that has made certain firearms illegal so far. Makes me think, there is going to be a lot of grumbling and compliance when it comes right down to brass tacks.
  22. We’ll know in another week.
  23. Started adding it to my multi-vitamin regimen, this morning, because of your post. Thank you!!!
  24. If the Democrats are smart, they will watch the backlash that is beginning to come to fruition towards COVID-19. I think any Gun Confiscation Plan put forth by a Democratic Administration will see far worse demonstrations and acts.
