Agreed. I'd rather buy a cheaper one and spend the savings on ammunitiion.
-
It will be interesting to see if the Democrats and Gun Grabbers have the guts to do this.
-
I wish you great success with both of those endeavors!

$238 is more inline with what the LCPII is going for.

They do and I very much interested in their U.S. Army 1911a1, because most of my time in service, I carried a 1911a1 like it. It’s imported by SDS. https://www.classicfirearms.com/sds-imports-1911-a1-government/

I just looked at my .357/9mm convertible and, sadly, it’s not a flat top. Didn’t honestly think it was. It’s a beefy older revolver.

If I were going to spend $1000 on a single action 9mm, I agree with XTriggerman. It’d be on a Hi-Power. To be honest with you, if I were going to buy another steel 9mm, it’s be a Hi-Power. I’ve had a CZ and think they are great pistols, but my hand is just a tad too small for it. I have to change hand position to engage or disengage the safety or drop a mag, but they run flawlessly and are very accurate! The Brown just fits my hand perfectly. Tisas is currently making a beautiful copy of the Hi-Power in both blue and Stainless. Prices are right around $500. https://www.shootingillustrated.com/articles/2019/5/20/review-tisas-regent-br9/

GF, glad you are still among us. Now stay healthy, my friend!

Here is a line to an article from Fox News concerning the status of Virginia's proposed new 2A legislation. Seems like plenty of people are lining up to speak about the proposed bills. I think a Hornet's nest just may have been kicked over. Some Democratic Legislators are starting to feel the heat. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gun-control-virginia-sanctuaries

I’ve been impressed with the two PT111 Millennium G2s I’ve had. So much so, that I’m considering a TX-22.

I think it’s been a while since Ruger made an all Steel semi auto, other than a 1911. I’ve always been interested in this round, since that idiot terrorist used an FNH 5.7 to great effect at Fort Hood, back in 2009. Before that, I thought it was a gimmick. Still seems much bigger than I want to carry, though.

Damn, GF54! I'm all of those things, sometimes! Well, I don't wear camoflage, but I've been known to don a pair of OG BDUs from time to time.

It could happen, if the State Constitution were to change, but it’s highly doubtful that would happen here, in Tennessee.
-
That will probably happen to us one of these days, with Metro Nashville growing like it.
-
So I’m assuming all the rest are compacts or subcompact.

There are mountains in Hardin County? -
It’s an older design. The Shield my just be more inherently accurate, than the 3913.
-
The one in Knox County takes an hour or more and I’m not known for my patience when it comes to waiting in line. Once my fingerprints were made, it was less than a week for me.

I use the Nemesis and Fobus for mine. Both work great! Hadn’t thought about a VersaCarry, but between the first two holster, I’m not really sure I need anything else.
-
Be careful if you try a Taurus G2C .40 or whatever they are calling them now. You might like it too, much to the chagrin of the haters.

I have a 442 that I occasionally carry. Carries well IWB.

We cut the cord back in August. While we’ve seen a significant savings, it’s not as much as I’d hoped. We had Comcast Xfinity and that still the only game in town for us. ($114) I like to watch UT sports, so we still had to find a platform with ESPN. Ended up with Sling TV which is $30 a month. We had Netflix and Amazon Prime before and share that with the kids ($14 & $11). My son share his HULU with us. We ended up cutting our cable bill about $100 or so.

Excellent post! The only reason I never got on the 40 S&W bandwagon was, when the 40 got popular, I was still shooting on the ARCOM Rifle Team and I was getting all the rifle and pistol ammunition I wanted. That included 9mm. I saw no reason to add another caliber to the mix. I resisted that idea, even after I left the Army Reserve. It's just been recently that I added calibers other than 9mm and .45ACP to my collection. In the last few years, I've added .32ACP, .380ACP and .38/357. Still don't feel the need to add .40 S&W to the mix, though, so your ammunition isn't going to dry up anytime soon, because I'm out buying loads of it.

Almost the exact opposite of me!

Of the last seven handguns I have acquired, only one has been a full sized or service pistol, a Taurus Tracker Model 627 .357 Mag. The rest have either been compacts, subcompacts or mouse guns. What's the last service or full sized pistol you bought? What was the last compact or subcompact pistol you bought? Which came first? And GO!
