Go back and read what I said. You have no business in my backyard or peeking in my windows. And I didn't say I would shoot it down. You did. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

Back in the day, drones that people could buy were toys. With today's digital cameras, they are a peeping tom's wet dream. I got no problem with someone owning and flying one, but don't expect to fly one in my backyard or be peeking in my windows with one. I'll warn you the first time and I'll take it out of the sky the next time, if your stupid enough to ignore me.

Hey, what about a Mossy 590? You can hunt anything in North America with that and it takes a bayonet too!!! :)

Remaining Goverment Stock WWII 1911 To Be Sold To the Public
Moped replied to runco's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I can't see His Majesty allowing this to happen. Either he will veto this bill or step in with some sort of EO that stops it. -
If it were strictly HD, I would go with the 9mm carbine. But if I wanted to take deer with it too, I would get the SKS. I know several people that hunt with one and they love the SKS for deer. You could take a deer up to 150 yards with one. You want do that with a 9mm. All that being said, the prices on a SKS that I am seeing now-a-days are in the realm of a cheap AR. You can build and AR today for around $475 out the door. That's using PSA's Freedom Rifle kit for $399.99 ( http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-16-stainless-mid-length-1-7-freedom-rifle-kit.html ) and their blem lower for $49.99 +tax, transfer and BGC ( http://palmettostatearmory.com/catalog/product/view/id/10445/ ). If you are patient, you can get it even cheaper.

$375 is a great price on the market around here in Knoxville. Most people wanting to sell one are looking for $500+ regardless of what Gen it is.

I too, see this country spiraling down towards civil unrest and I think the ones in power at the moment, are perpetuating that spiral with their rhetoric. I don't think anyone really wants to see the result either. All this talk about Australian like gun control, which really means gun confiscation, may be the first real effort to push the right into open rebellion, depending on how the 2016 elections go.

Got mine 3 weeks ago. I didnt have any ill effects, beyond a slightly sore arm. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

Wrong! Not Safe for ANYWHERE! That jpeg should be banned from the internet!

I got a S&W J-Frame Mdl 38 Bodyguard that carries well in the pocket! I favor the .38spl over a .380ACP any day of the week.

I carry a snubnose revolver because.....
Moped replied to FortKnox's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Well, I don't plan on taking down a shooter in a classroom, so my normal EDC is a S&W MDL 38 Bodyguard with a Tyler T-grip. light enough to keep your pants up, fits easily in a pocket and goes bang every time. -
I had one and it dropped the mag about every second round. I no longer have that pistol. Loved the size though. Now I am toting a S&W Model 38 and I like it much better! Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

Before you buy your wife a revolver, go rent some and let her try them out. A little airweight pistol is not necessarily for the faint of heart. My S&W Airweight Model 38 is a handful. After shooting a box of 50 .38spl LRN, you feel it. If she can handle a Model 38, though, I recommend them, though! They are snag free but can still be be cocked.

Saw on the news tonight, that the Cameraman's fiance was the morning show producer and was in the booth and saw the whole thing go down. I feel sorry for her. How horrible to witness your loved one being gunned down and not be able to do anything about it.

I pocket carry an Izula from time to time. Costs just a few more dollars than this plastic job, and will outlast you.

Decided to leave the HKS speedloader in the car. The Speed Strips will ride in my pocket when I carry this little pistol.

His buddy doesn't seem all that gun savvy. Could it be that the Security Agency he works for mandates revolvers? Here is what I would go for, in a cheap revolver. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/654_910/products_id/411545791/Used+S%26W+Police+Model+10+38sp+Round+Butt or http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/654_910/products_id/411545790/Used+S%26W+Police+Model+10+38sp+Square+Butt or http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/654_910/products_id/718003154/S%26W+M10+38SPL+6RD+USED

So, I took the little Humpback out for a ride this evening up to the Norris Range and put a box of 158gr LRN through it. It is quite the handful. After about 35 rounds, the base of my thumb at the web of my right hand is pretty sore. I endeavored to persevere and finished the box, though I finished the last 5 rounds with my left hand. It's not a range toy, that's for sure, but it grouped good. The front sight was a bit hard for these 52 year old eye to pick up sometimes. I think I will have to paint them a contrasting color. I do believe it's a keeper though! :)

Well heck, let me jump on the band wagon. Savage is the way to go! Their triggers are awesome!

Some questions that I ask myself everyday, is if where I'm going is so dangerous that I need to carry a gun because I would be in fear of my life, do I REALLY need go there? And if I really need to go there, shouldn't I carry the weapon best suited for that environment? The little Humpback is for everyday carry. I can step up to more firepower if needed. :) Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

Was Jim Cirillo on the video linked in an earlier post? After watching that, I started wondering where i could find wadcutters. I used to reload, then got out of it, when I was getting ammunition for free. Now I am started to get back in the game again. But I would not carry reloads for self defense, because of liability in court, if I ever shot someone. I've been told and read that reloads are a big no no in such situations. My Mdl 38 was made in the late 60's or early 70's. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

Where does one find wadcutter ammunition? I never see it in stores. Currently I am stoking this with 158gr SJHPs. Since its an aluminum frame, they are not +P. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk

By the way, you all notice I have the DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster. I absolutely love this holster and highly recommend it!!! When I pull the little J-Frame out, it stays put in my pocket! I had an Uncle Mike's pocket holster for a Keltec PF-9 I carried for a while and it never stayed put and would come out of the pocket with the pistol. Also if you go to reholster, it's much easier than with the Uncle Mike's. It's fairly rigid. Conceals very well, provided your pants pocket is cut right, but I haven't tried it with my jeans yet. They are a bit tighter than the khakis I usually wear. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
