    M&P 9mm

I have the small grip backstrap on my 45C too.   As far as being a M&P Fanboy, I like it, but it's not my favorite pistol,  I would like more aggressive grip checker on mine.  Seems to move a lot in my hand.  Also the space between the grip and the magazine base plate tends to pinch my pinky.  Doesn't really hurt, but it is annoying.  The trigger could be a lot better too.  So far it has the worst trigger of any of my pistols.  Functions flawlessly though.
  2. That's too pretty for my AR for my Mossberg 590!
  3. Merry Christmas!
  4. Read the article and like you, I failed to see the connection. New York and its Public Advocate, Latitia James are the ones thst should be sued! Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  5. You might not have carried yours as much as I have. [emoji4] I wouldn't mind getting the plain dagger blade in orange or blue. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  6.         I picked up an AK74 Tanto at SMKW, shortly after the new knife law went into effect.  I think it's a great value for the money.  I carry it often and have zero problems out of it, other than the paint is starting to wear off  the edges of the aluminum scales.   http://www.bladehq.com/item--Boker-Kalashnikov--619
  7. If you are just starting out, then I think a basic magazine amount is 3 for each pistol and 7 for each rifle.  Once you get to that point, then start buying extra rifle mags until you get to the right amount for you.  Then start buying pistol mags until you get to the amount that is right for you.  Don't forget to buy the ammunition for each one as well.
  8. Yes, this was settled back in the Summer.  It was discussed here http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/89723-judge-approves-claims-against-taurus/?hl=%2Btaurus+%2Blawsuit .   I bought a G2 before I was aware of the lawsuit.  Had I known about it, I probably would not have bought it and then I would have missed out on a great little subcompact 9mm. Taurus redesigned the Millennium series after all the complaints and came out with the G2.
  9. Got my new M&P 45C to the range this afternoon.  And put 50 flawless rounds down range and hit the target every time!  I really liked it a lot!  I think it needs a new set of sights.  I found it hard to pick up the white ball on the front sight in the gloom.  Matter of fact, never saw it at all.   I would also like some more agressive grip panels.  Does anyone know if there are some stick-on grip panels made for the M&P series of pistols?
  10. I got my FNH FNS9 out to the range this afternoon.  GREAT PISTOL!!!  After 50 rounds, it may be my favorite in my stable!  And it fully ambidextrous!  The only thing I wish I had was bigger safety levers, but with a little training, those aren't a problem either!
  11. I think you are right!!! Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  12. I used to shoot competition for the Army Reserve Rifle Team back in the 90's. We shot the National Match M14. It's a great rifle, but damn is it heavy!!! For causal plinking at the range, as a occasional hunting rifle or a SHtF rifle, I'd find something lighter. Hence my recommendation of the FAL or an AR10. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  13. No way this would stand up to a constitutional challenge.  He just keeps pushing though.  He must really want to see chaos in this country.
  14. Trying a 30 day trial version of Kindle Unlimited this last weekend and downloaded a set of books called EMP.  Actually it's two series.  One is called Pulse and the other is Broken Lines.  Pulse is pretty good so far, though the author needed to have one more go around with an editor.
  15. FAL or AR10.
  16. The FNH FNS9 is the only one that I know of.  I just got one.  Going to try to get to the range tomorrow and shoot it.  It's the most comfortable pistol I have ever handled as well.  Another plus is they sell with three mags instead of the normal two.
  17. The Marine Corp was still using the M60 during Desert Storm.  I suspect there are probably some still in the inventory.  There is an A10 squadron flying out of Turkey in support of the Kurds and Friendly Syrians, over Syria and Iraq.
  18. Any way they can inflate the numbers, they will use.  They hate the fact that the FBI says murders and crime in general have nothing but go down over the last several years.
  19. I guess they are pretty good.  I have two. :koolaid:
  20. It was always easy to get around the limits before, but now they will just ban all semi-autos. That will just leave revolvers, bolt actions, pumps and single shots. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  21. I'd say those are outlawed in the next 6 months, thanks to SCOTUS.
  22. Never under estimate the importance of hygiene.  Yes water, food and shelter are extremely important, but all it takes is a small cut getting infected and within a week, you could be dead.  Soap is very important.  Yes you can make it, but how many people know how?  I'm betting it's like one in several thousand or more.   Also how long are you going to keep meat if the power is out? Better have a generator in order to run that freezer if you want to keep meat. So you better have a good supply of gasoline.  Otherwise, that meat is gone with 48 hours of lights going out.    You all read this article about survival during the Bosnian War.  No sure if it's true or not, but there are lots to think about here.  The man that wrote the article talks about the importance of hygienic items.   http://www.naturalnews.com/040249_Bosnia_preppers_survival_strategies.html   BTW, just got back from the grocery store and came up with some more items that would be good to stock up on for trading a trading post. Spaghetti / macaroni noodles dry goods like rice, flour, oats and beans packages of dried fruit canned foods (any and all) glue nails and screws different sized hinges and latches wire trash bags plastic sheeting cordage cheap polyurethane tarps like those sold at harbor freight. aspirin/painkillers vitamins inner tubes (lots of uses for bicycle inter tubes)
  23.   Other items to add: soap shampoo cleaning supplies tampons/sanitary napkins cotton balls razors toothpaste and tooth brushes laundry detergent silver .177 and .22 cal pellets needles and thread scissors thumbles baking soda salt and pepper bouillon cubes instant coffee water flavor packets
  24.   Like the bag, but it screams GUN. They need colors not military related.
  25. This must be what the media have been calling "assault style" weapons. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
