  1. I was very excited about going forward to a more in depth classifieds system, but since the majority of users are not embracing it then I don't see it as being worth it. Examples: 1) The "make an offer" function seemed neat. Nobody has ever used it, still sending PM's instead 2) Since a classified ad duplicates as a discussion thread, I had people contacting me weeks after I had marked an ad as sold because they were looking at the discussion thread and never realized it was already sold. End result, a seller has to now mark two separate things (the ad and the discussion thread) as sold 3) The image upload function does not correlate to Tapatalk at all. I suspect it is a permissions issue behind the scenes. Personally, I love Tapatalk because it streamlines all of my forums into one sleek app. 4) Since the new forum software has a certain number of required fields, it makes listing groups of items difficult/impossible and for certain items the selections simply do not make sense. I think most everyone around is so used to the way we were doing things that the old way of doing classifieds would be warmly welcomed. Also, seems like it would be less overall work for you:)
  2. Good video. Admitted you screwed up, which is a good thing to be able to do. Funny as usual. Really like this style of video. Keep them coming. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Had I never tried a Glock 19 I would have still been on a CZ P-01. Not a bad choice by any means but for cost of magazines, accessories coupled with a more simplistic design, I am glad I switched to Glocks! Now, if the PPQ has a better trigger, better ergonomics, and I shoot it as well or better than a Glock, as long as it can be seen as reliable (I think it can) and I am ok with the switch then why not? Would love to find someone on TGO in Cleveland with a PPQ. I'd love to shoot one before buying it!
  4. I officially have a very annoying itch to purchase one of the PPQ's. Now, my first carry gun was a CZ P-O1, that progressed to a Glock 19 and I haven't truly been away from a Glock since. I briefly owned an HK VP9 and loved the ergonomics and shot it quite well, but old it and kept the 19. Mainly looking to see opinions from everyone here. I see the Navy SD version can be purchased for about the same price of a Glock 19: https://www.gunbuyer.com/walther-ppq-m2-9mm-navy-4-6-barrel-15-round-black-2796082-wal2796082-gb.html

  6. Yeah, why do I think that it will be best at shaking salt? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Do not confuse momentum with velocity. Your landing was softer because your mass was lower. Momentum = Mass x Velocity
  8. I am no aviation expert but from what I understand the speedometer/speed tracking device looks like it is from a passenger plane? I'm more interested and curious why the "DANGER: EJECTION SEAT & CANOPY" is in English?
  9. True, but I think it would be unwise to assume that America has not, or even does not, do the same.
  10. The difference is that they flew a C-130 over Afghanistan to drop the MOAB. The Tomahawks have a range of around 1,500 miles. Syria has air defenses, much more than Afghanistan.
  11. I have a Gerber 600 that works pretty great. I like the one-handed opening, it comes in handy sometimes. http://amzn.to/2pt8nFC Typically under $50, sometimes can be found for cheaper even.
  12. P.S. That's what the extra money is for, "Some for your troubles and some for my a shipping agent acting on my behalf". Also, if it isn't clear, nobody ever meets up with you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. He sends you fake check, you cash it, if the bank doesn't immediately catch it you think it's good, he then asks for $50 payment to the "FFL/Agent" in the form of Credit Card, Amazon Gift Card, Bank Account, Western Union, etc. Bank takes $600 back from you since it's fake, you sent actual money to him, he wins. Obviously it could get expensive for anyone providing CC or Bank Account information. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Lifestraw: $12.50 on 4/7/2017 @ 12:48 EST: http://amzn.to/2ogY9KZ
  15. See, that's what I thought initially too, but the actual URL linked to from there seems to simply be the standard DOS address change, which seems to be exactly what I did earlier this week.
  16. Right, right, all good information, but specifically, if I updated my address for my drivers license, does anything more need to be updated for the permit or does it use the same change of address form that your license does?
  17. Most of these are decently irrelevant with a quality holster and belt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. These are cool in the sense that they help hide the fact of what's in them, but instruments get stolen too so not much help in that regard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So my Wife and I moved this weekend. I just updated my DL to the new address via TN's DMV website. I forget, does something need to be done for the permit as well?
  20. I'll be honest. I was very excited for a few minutes when I read this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Honestly, the Keens are a smaller size than what I had been wearing. I think I was buying half a size too large for Merrels. Had my foot properly sized and these fit great! Point being, I'm not the best person to ask that to.
  24. Today, Amazon is discounting Merrells up to 40% off! http://amzn.to/2nLDrTh Merrell makes a great shoe, I used to get them with my work boot allowance up until my job position changed and I now have to get steel/composite toe. With all that being said, Merrell is the only brand of shoe that I've loved so much that I went the next year and purchased an exactly identical version of the shoe I purchased the year prior. I'm now sporting a pair of Keen's but would have never left Merrell had my shoe requirements not changed. Edit: Just a note that many of these prices seem very fair, I was accustomed to spending $100-$150 for the pair. The MOAB is probably what I would go for if I were shopping today.
  25. As a shameless plug, I'm trying to sell (or trade) some photography equipment in the classifieds here:
