If I buy something that needs a holster I usually come on here and look for handmade goods from the board. Bought some sharp pointy things too from TGO. Skilled bunch on this board.

For those of you whose kids are getting giant Lego kits for Christmas...
jhc77 replied to MacGyver's topic in General Chat
That is so gratifying. My boy is 8 now and fell off the Lego train. 30+ sets in various stages or piles. -
I found a cheaper alternative to the SOE bag. It's not $200 but $25. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/939579089/midwayusa-bail-out-bag

I was just in Lexington actually. Stayed at the vineyard while visiting family in Thomasville for Thanksgiving. Didn’t think there was much out in those parts, learned something new. Haven’t tried N82 yet. -
I got second place last year in the neighborhood contest. Next weekend mine go up with a couple of additions.

Every other renewal, I think, you have to update your photo. Some folk age like fine wine while others seem to challenge Father Time to a race. Not a big deal, couple of weeks and it’s shows in the mail.

Hey MacGyver, title has the 16th and not 6th. I’ve not seen this light before but the S Mini SS might be ordered. -

The Official Range Photo Thread (Prove That You Shoot)

7 pin and blue circle where at 20 yards with and without a bag with a Marlin 81DL with factory scope. Slathering of other 22LR holes are a Ruger MKIII 22/45 at various distances. Larger holes are all 9mm, again at various distances, from 5yd to 20. Pretty sloppy 9mm by my standards. Pic isn't working apparently. I'll try later. -
Welcome

Not to detract from your beautiful firearm @maroonandwhite but I haven't put mine out there much. I've always wanted a 336 but have no real purpose for one. It would not see full use and to fancy for a range piece. A Henry in 22LR or the Big Boy in 38/357 is a bucket list item personally. When it's time it will hopefully be custom obviously to get a round barrel to match the old man 1866.

I think we are the only two that own one of these FN's. Someone on TGO has the compact version also I think.

I can see this slipping through. Having spent 29 years in that area I can see it being overlooked. One of the largest if not largest concentration of military personnel in the US. I agree with Garufa also.

What to do with your eclipse glasses (seriously)

My local optometrist is collecting them too for the same reasons. -
Dad lives in around the corner not too far south(15 minutes maybe).

Antique. Uniden Bearcat BC60XLT-1.

That's hit or miss. I've used it in 37174 and my old neighborhood in Va and it doesn't pick up everything available. Even Nashville is missing some. I've got 4 channels plugged in my scanner local to Spring Hill and it won't shut off. I had to mute Williamson Co Sheriff cause there traffic is non stop. Radioreference.com is a good site to get frequencies.

I'd be in. I'm out most of the second week but up for 7th, 21st or 28th.

I do not. I foolishly sold my double barrel 20ga about 9 years ago. Not quite sure if that was my first from dad or the Remington 870 that I do still own. Either way I'm still missing the 20 I sold. Didn't think I would ever shoot it again and brain was a little washy then too. I do still own a 22 single shot that dad and his sister learned on.
