The "keeping a cooler cold" is about what kind of insulation and how much insulation there is. One of mt coworkers took a cheap white foam coolers you get at the corner market, a can of spray form in a can. Made a mold from cardboard, with the can of foam added 4 to 6" of insulation to the bottom, sides and top of the cooler. His name is Ron, he called his cooler the "Ronyetty" cooler. The thing worked great, it would keep ice in the sun for all day. Cost was less than 15 dollars. Another factor is getting the water from melting ice out as water left in would cause the ice to melt faster. Keep the lid shut and no air leaks are a plus, kids will get into a cooler every 5 mins and leave the lid open, there goes the cold air out and warm air in. Now if we could buy a double wall vacuum insulated cooler like the drink mugs and cups we have then you would have the best insulation money can buy, but alas one is not made, yet. Long story is buy what you can afford, freeze bottles of water for the cooling and then for drinking when they melt, cause the ice will melt.

I hate you, I hate you so much. Now put me in your will, as Greg said " You, sir, have impeccable tastes. "

Found this https://www.hunker.com/13400811/how-to-calculate-floor-load-capacity The dead load on a floor is determined by the materials used in the floor's construction. A typical wood-frame floor covered with carpet or vinyl flooring has a dead load of about 8 pounds per square foot; if there's wall-board covered ceiling suspended from the underside of that floor, the dead load increases to about 10 pounds per square foot. Heavier flooring materials increase the dead load even more. Building Codes and Limits Local building codes specify the minimum live load that floors must be able to bear. The International Residential Code, on which most local building codes are based, requires that floors in non-sleeping rooms must support a minimum live load of 40 pounds per square foot, and floors in sleeping rooms must be able to handle a live load of 30 pounds per square foot.

Quoted from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catch-22 "There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he were sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to, but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle. " So with the shootings over the past few days, the talk in another thread about "mental illness" , does "Catch 22" apply? Is a person crazy if that person wants to murder another person? There is a defense of "Temporary Insanity". "Catch 22" is a favorite move of mine.

Modeling clay "snap cap" - Anyone ever used this idea?
RED333 replied to Ronald_55's topic in General Chat
I am sure the LGS would be upset. So get a few spent primers, punch the primes flat with out the anvil. Put the primer shell back into the case and test the hammer with that. -

Why not load a case with a live primer, no powder or boolit, to test the firing pin. -
My Mom has been quilting as long as I can remember, now that she has retired she has been quilting full time. Here is one of her quilts.

My son has one as well, but the saplings had roots locking stuff in.

Took the advice to start a different topic. Helped my son clean his gutters, had been a good bit. We are both afraid of heights, helps to have some one there to hold the ladder. He had trees growing, he has an oak tree in the front yard, acorns had started a few saplings. We cleaned both the front and back gutters, took just over a hour. Yall be safe out there.
