I live on land that has had people living on it for all most 200 years. We had a metal detector that we used for over a week, all we could find was old horse shoes, cans and other junk. It was a cheap one. Never did find any good stuff. I have wanted to get a good detector and search more.

That would be me, I have been in the service world all my life, sales will promise the moon and want service to get for little or nothing. When I go to buy something, I know what it will cost, how much it cost to ship. Dont need a sales person for me to buy. In this day and time do research, make a few calls, buy with out talking to a sales person. A sales person is the very reason I will not buy a car off of a lot, their cut is money out of my pocket.

"BUYER BEWARE", my Dad told me this years ago. Never take the word of a "sales person" (PC), as they make money on how well they lie. Every buy I make is well thought out. Do you "need" it, price is not an issue,(ie) water bill, you need water. Do you "want" it, well price is some thing to think about, (ie) pistol ,condition, age, price.

This is an under statement to say the least. I have been in 2 times, prices are for new stuff, very little "surplus", and proud of what they have.

Well got my lower put together tonight, well most of it. Waiting on a ambi selector to come in. Do not have a buffer tube yet so those rear parts are not in the lower yet. Trigger done, bolt catch done, mag release done, selector detent and grip on. O, and the PIA front take down pin with detent done, the razor blade trick worked. I no longer have that cherry to brag about.
