  1. I just cancelled my DirecTV, so now I am just doing the DTV antenna, and streaming (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime). I will probably add HBO Now and Starz to my Amazon FireTV.   I will add the following (although some are not kid friendly):   Black Sails (Starz) Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix) Mozart in the Jungle (Prime) Dark Matter (kind of Firefly-ish; not as good, but decent, so far) (Netflix) The Man in the High Castle (Prime)
  2. I renewed mine a little late once, and it still went through without any problems.  I would still get it sent off ASAP.
  3. Well, crap!  I was wondering the other day way there was no Secret Santa this year, but it looks like I totally missed the thread.  Maybe next year I'll pay more attention.   Looks like cool gifts!
  4. Todd is a great guy!  Helped me install sights on a couple of my Glocks many moons ago.
  5. You might look at 4 Wheel Parts.  They just a bit up the road from you at Nolensville Pike & Harding Place (next to Arby's).   I have no experience with them and do not know of their work quality, so you should do your research.
  6. Give the Outpost Armory a call.  They charge $15 for Glock sight installs, and they install Glock sights for free if you purchase the sights from them.
  7.   The ambi safety is the same size on both sides.  They are good sized, which makes it easy to engage with your thumb, but then the opposing side digs into your trigger finger when put into "fire" mode.  Not very well thought out.  Supposedly, CZ is coming out with an option to delete if off on one side.  Not sure if the are any aftermarket fixes from other companies.   EDIT:  Looks like CZ has already come out with the ambi delete option, although I can't find it on their website.
  8. I have been considering this purchase, as well.  Also looked at the MPX, but I think I will go with the CZ based on the price.   Hopefully, CZ can get in a steady supply of 30rd mags.
  9. Either one is fine, as I will probably get them both, so the order doesn't matter to me.
  10. So sorry to hear about this.  It is great that you received such good care.  Having traveled abroad quite a bit in the past, that was always one of my biggest concerns.   Glad you are doing better.  Here's to a speedy recovery!
  11.   I picked up one from AIM a couple of months ago, just for the purpose of having in customized by Novak.  They have some more in now, and I am thinking of picking up another one for a minor rework to keep it more of a stock pistol.  I had a BHP back in the 90s, it was the factory hard chrome version.  Great pistol, and I loved shooting it.  Like a dumbass, I traded it away, and have regretted that ever since.
  12.   Actually, it does for some non-US citizens.  I believe a hunting license is required for a non-immigrant alien (foreigners admitted on a temp visa) to purchase a firearm.  It is not required for permanent resident aliens ("green card" holders).  The guy at On Target got the requirements mixed-up.
  13. Got mine today, and they are beautiful!  Smaller than I expected, but I love their size.  Thanks, Willis!   I look forward to future buys, especially a Large Don (HINT! HINT!).
  14.   Black Talon ammo was never banned.  Winchester/Olin voluntarily pulled them from the market.  The coating on Black Talons was some sort of oxide coating, which did not give the rounds any sort of armor piercing capabilities.  Black Talons never had a Teflon coating.  They fell victim to an anti-gun PR campaign.
  15. I buy these jeans almost exclusively, now.  They are very well made, and the gusset makes them very comfortable.  They are expensive, but they have occasional sales, and I like the fact that it is a Tennessee business.   Never cared for Lee or Wrangler, but gave up on Levi's due to their anti-gun views and move overseas.
  16.   Sadly, it looks like the terrorists have already defeated you.   For free speech to be truly cherished, we must have a society where people feel safe to voice their views and opinions.  Don't like someone's view?  Then discuss it in a civilized, rational way. Or ignore it.  It is these terrorists that do not want you to have freedom..........freedom of anything.  They want to impose their views on you, or kill you if you won't accept them.  It is they that bring the mayhem onto the innocent bystanders, not the cartoonists.
  17. They are for real.  Good for state/local 2A issues.   I think that is their old website.  Try this one==> http://www.tfaonline.org/
