  1. Well, you can get milk if you don't mind going UHT but yeah, fresh stuff... Only a matter of time though I'm sure. A huge proportion of my shopping requirements are fulfilled by Amazon and Ebay these days.
  2. Tercel, you could always "age" the finish such as George Lucas did with the Star Wars props. Why has no one posted this yet?
  3. One thing I might suggest if this is done again: Do two rounds, one with the limit of 2 and the next with a more liberal limit. It seems a shame that both a lot of people dropped out and that others couldn't get as many as they wanted. If it's known how many CMT is willing to produce, why not keep going until that's reached or nobody wants any more? (Up to a deadline, of course)   Just a random thought to go with that for a next time: Perhaps auction off the 00001 lower for charity. Though it's understandable if the organizer wants that one for himself :)
  4.   You should watch Penn's channel on youtube. The guy is *very* libertarian.
  5.   You just remember the times you do. It's a numbers game. Sensor lights make it doubly so.   (That guy at the light, he just triggered the count-down to green. Because he arrived there sooner, you are going to get to go earlier too. Though your scenario assumes that he didn't get to the light in time to prevent the red timer from starting which allows you to draft through behind him).
  6.   All that work is much appreciated. I am very pleased with my lower, especially for a first build and can't wait for my barrel to come in stock so I can do the upper too.   If nothing else, CMT can consider it a great advertisement for their product.
  7.   I do not have my eyes closed to the possibility it could happen so I would attempt to take it in stride.   In this case, I'd be glad to shake the dust of Maryland from my shoes.
  8.     Yep, definitely should have eyes pinned to the speedometer rather than, y'know, looking at the road & stuff.
  9.   When you hear things like that, always check Snopes.
  10. Amazon does sell groceries.
  11. What would be nice to see would be a rifle with a gyro-stabilized barrel. Get the barrel pointed in the right direction then tweak with a thumb-operated joystick.   Or maybe just something like the steadicam technology.
  12. Google "gorilla arm".   I don't think you need to google "greasy fingerprints" though.
  13. Tax Act.
  14. Personally, I'm not in any rush to get a touchscreen. They're good on tablets but I believe they are not good with a more traditional setup, particularly a desktop. Your experience may be otherwise, of course.
  15. Not going to tell mine but it's way under 152 :)
  16. I think the barrel may be in line with the compensator but the rail isn't on straight (though could just be shadows)
  17. I still do my own. Mostly because I like to be able to upgrade the individual bits and pieces. I'm still using a case I bought in 2000 in order to hold all the bits I brought over from England when I came. I'm arguably using a 16 year old computer :D   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_of_Theseus
  18. There's a guy in Dickson does them. I tried calling a while back on the off-chance they could get me in quickly but there was a long wait and I only had a small windows of opportunity.
  19.   Both Larry and Jeff were there at various times back when I was flying. I kinda left off it for a while. I need to get my medical done and checked out again. I plan to do that this year.
  20.   Cool. Now I get to spoil that for you ;)   http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/04/06/widespread-computer-virus-indicates-mac-users-no-longer-safe/
  21. Note that you can usually plug a full-sized monitor an keyboard into a laptop, even without a dock.   Touchscreen monitors don't require anything special in the graphics card department, that's an input function. Any video, onboard or not will be able to run most monitors a regular consumer will consider buying. Where you are needing to pay attention to that is if you have high framerate requirements such as for gaming.   For most people, I'd suggest going for a laptop these days, it's just got so much upside and you can get the performance most users desire at a decent price. One downside is that the batteries need replacing more often than I'd like. I'd skip Compaqs and Toshibas as I've had bad luck with those. I like the Thinkpads and I've used Dell Latitudes and had good luck with them.
  22.   That's not necessarily unusual. It's a fairly small airport. I've landed at Dickson before and been the only one there.
  23.   That's probably because the players keep embarrassing themselves with them.
