  I wish they'd have even just continued to Goose Creek, even if only the right lane. It's only just a touch over a mile and then you can jump off on to the Goose Creek bypass to 840. I figure with a bit of paint, they could just have done without an emergency lane for that mile and it would have made things a lot better.

  One thing is, Franklin or Cool Springs? Technically, Cool Springs is part of Franklin but it actually makes a difference. Cool Springs is where all the growth is at the moment.

840 connects Dickson and Fairview with Franklin pretty well. Currently, there is an awful bottleneck between 840 and 96 (4 lanes to 2. Nasty) but they are supposed to be working on that starting next year.   When the bottleneck is not an issue, I can cut 15-20 minutes from my commute.

I have to 'fess that Walking Dead is starting to drift into "watching for duty, not fun" territory.
