I was talking with my grandson about getting me a deer for the freezer and he said he would. He said they finally have stopped the poachers from coming on the property. They decided after being arrested 3 different times that is was getting to expensive to keep poaching on my sons land so will have a chance to get some deer this year as they are seeing some on the cameras. They have 4 ffod plots planted and I asked him about rubs and he said he has not see many rubs yet but he also said he has one deer rubbing cedar trees in 3 different locations and he is rubbing trunks of 3 and 4 inch Cedars and has them cleaned. He is hoping to see him on one of the cameras as he move two of them in the area of the rubs. He said it has got to be a huge deer as he is rubbing up at least 4 feet up the trees. I ask him to send me any videos he may get of the deer on his cameras and he said he would.

I use to be able to get a set of cuffs from behind my back and unlock them with a safety pin I kept pinned to the inside of my pants pocket. Then I would toss the pin and when the officer came back to his car I would give him his cuffs. It was a standing joke in my small hometown. That all changed when the new hand cuffs came out with the locks on them. Could not get out of those. Now back to getting cuffs from behind me to in front of me. If I was to try and do that today they would have to put me back together after picking up all the pieces when I busted apart. No way in Hell I would ever attempt it today..........

Can you remember anymore parts about the book. What was it based on past, present,future? Survival, 2nd Depression?

Most all of the breakout Horror movies Halloween, Friday 13th, Pumpkinhead, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm street, Night of the living dead and the list goes on where great. A few had good sequels but normally the originals were the best. I grew up watching SHOCK THEATER on Satuday nights to movies like Frankinstein, Were of London, Dracula, The Mummy My bedroom was lined in Garlic and I had a silver pocket knife and a book of matches if I had to set the Mummy on fire and my only fear was Frankenstein cause he didn't have any weaknesses LOL.........JMHO

The Carter years were really tough on a lot of people for sure. All except for 1 and his name was Billy and he was Jimmy Carters brother. He was also a business man that his brother Jimmy had little to no control over. He was a thorn in Jimmy Carters back side he could not get rid of. He once figured out a way with the help of a few people in Carters Cabinet to go to Libya where Billy borrowed a large some of money for a business venture as Muarmmar Gaddafi was looking to invest money in some American businesses. He loaned Billy like $285,000.00 to open up a brewery and begin making BIlly Beer. I never heard what happened to that ordeal but I know some Billy Beer did make it on to store shelves..........................

Well, thats a tough reason to come home but with 18 months done he was due to come home or was very short anyway. Glad he made it home alive and was just jumpy for a while. When you get short is normally when most guys got the most careless cause they had going home on their minds.

I went looking just out of cusiosity and found these and may explain what you have in your back yard. These are all Black bear blonde cubs and are native to the area but are very rare to see one without the mother close by so when you say the dogs were upset it may have been cause they could smell Momma close by.

My team went through training for 13 months of vigious training and then my team and I were in Nam from 1970 - 1973 and extracted out in January 1974. I don't think anyone that went over there came home with the same personality they had before going so I can understand your boss being little jumpy at first. He is very lucky if that is all he came back with.

Nothing got done like Westmoreland wanted things done because it was not what the politicians back in DC wanted it done. I think Westmoreland wanted a night landing and instead they landed them in broad daylight and the Girls with Leis made it look more like a beach party. I know 2 guys that were part of that beach landing and one of them said Westmoreland was ferious with how it took place.

The Temporary Service was not to happy with what he began doing and they told him that they will not be sending him any more workers if he is going to hire them and by pass the Temp Service he was using. He told them that was fine. He told all of the Temps he hired to see if they knew any others that were clean and could stay clean that he needed to hire at least 5 more people so he will see where that goes.

My SIL's boss implemented a program at his company the beginning of this month and so far it is working. He has 4 homeless men on his payroll that Tommy hired that could pass a drug test but had transportation issues. Tommy worked it out with a couple of their other employees that do drive to job sites to work. They made arrangements with the guys that drive to pick up the homeless workers on their way to work and they will buy that emloyee a tank of gas a week. So far it has worked well and Tommy picks up one of them on the way in with his company truck. If this program works out they plan on hiring any homeless people that can pass a drug tests and stay clean on the random tests. These guys did work through a Temporary Service but they had to get to the Temp Service office as best they could. This way they get picked up were they live and dropped back off at where they live. They decided to do this beacuse they couldn't get enough help other wise.

I have every Star Wars DVD movie they have released so far and the Original Trilogy movies are still in original box and celophane wrap never opened. When we went to see ET wife went along cause we went to see it at the drive in instead of indoor. I also have it on DVD. I get them so the kids that borrow them to watch with the Grand kids and then I get them back to save for future generations to watch.

Nothing better than a free ride compliments of the courts. If they are saying they can't get to work if they can't drive, means they do have a job so they should be able to pay their fines to keep their driving priviledges. The courts will accept small payments as long as anyone is trying. The dead beat dads that don't pay Child supports should be given limited driving priviledeges allowing them to drive back and forth to work until they get their back child support paid up and it should be taken out of their check before they get paid. The damn courts are just about telling these people they can break th law and it's ok to not pay or accept any responsibility for their actions. It's things like this that cause me to carry Un-insured Motorists on my Jeep Insurance. If I get hit by one of these people my insurance company has to fisx or replace my Jeep and then they can sue the person that hit me.

Went and saw it back then. I was just the right age too, 13 or so. Like Christine Blasey Ford I cant remember how I got there or who I went with. I took my boys to see it but wife declined and went to her mothers instead and I do remember how were got to the theater and back. In a Dodge Ramcharger!!
